Regarding Nobles Globetrotter from Ida, I've heard it went through it because of poor planning. Didn't plan enough time to pull everything. Haven't heard of any equipment failures.

Stronger storm is less likely to slow down and dump rain. Stronger in this case also correlates to a more easterly track which keeps a lot of the moisture out in the gulf.

That plus this one is pretty lopsided due to wind sheer. So it's well to the east that will get the rain.

If you have Twitter, both guys are on there and very active: Matt Lanza and Eric Berger. They are the best along with Levi Cowan, in my opinion.
