This postgame show is amateur hour. Basically saying the Astros knew what Glasnow was throwing so they had an advantage. What a bunch of east coast dicklickers.

They were praising us the whole time.

I think the point was that they were hitting the way they did was because Glasnow was tipping pitches

It certainly looked liked that, at least possibly, to me.

That's fair, I am just glad they didn't suggest they stole signals.

Tipping does not equal stealing signs. Fascinating stuff. Let's beat the jankeez

Breaking down how Astros batters were able to take advantage of the situation is "amateur hour"

Stop going out of your way to be butt hurt.

Great win!

I thought we took better approaches at the plate. Up the middle and opposite field swings as opposed trying to yank everything.

Anyone looking to sell some Game 2 tix for Sunday?

Coming into town tonight for the A&M game tomorrow, and might just have to stay an extra night in Houston and go to the game if I can swing some tickets.

I'm convinced these are different balls than the regular season. A couple of those shots we took were guaranteed homeruns before this week.

This should be an easy call right? I got tickets to both
the Bama game and game 1 ALCS. Which do I choose?

Both. leave in the 3rd quarter as we are losing by 50, and go straight to Minute Maid.

Yes I did. The Swamp was a bucket list stadium I've always wanted to go to. I wasn't gonna wait another 13 years to go

They probably used lead paint to put the postseason logo on the balls.

They were very clear that they didn't think the Astros were stealing signals and gave heavy praise to the team in how they communicated throughout the game - all part of the game and using what you can as an advantage.

Stealing signals is part of the game too, as long as you're not using technology to get an advantage (eg camera in centerfield seats stealing the signs ect).

It's another one of those "unwritten rules" that the 90+ year old baseball writers blather about. Batter isn't supposed to look back, runner on second isn't supposed to signal. And you are supposed to wear a suit and hat to the game, and make sure you pick up your rock candy wrappers when you leave.

BS. If you do not want your signs stolen, come up with better signs and dekes. We used to absolutely tee off on pitchers when their catchers didn't hide their signs. We could see the fingers from the dugout and yip once for fastball and twice for the deuce.

In the 60s at first pitch tomorrow?

I'd pay money to open the roof.

Really? Having the roof closed is a known advantage (as slight as it may be).

Do you remember the WS run back in 2005 when MLB forced MMP to open the roof? Everyone around here was pissed (and rightfully so).

Unless Coleander is pitching we're in trouble.

Been discussing this with some folks ... keeping Cole next year is the most important thing we can do, IMO. That said, I'd sell Correa, Greinke, and Springer to afford Cole.
