Question about PC performance. Have about 70 hours on the game and everything has been fine on my laptop. Suddenly today everything is really choppy and l****. I did some of the recommended mods earlier this week and they worked fine. But today load times were huge and the graphics unplayable. So I removed all the mods and went back to "stock." Made it better, but still not playable.
Any ideas what might have changed? I did not knowingly change any settings or update or anything.

I think they released the patch yesterday, but I've been running the beta patch and haven't had any problems.

No, it just means that you can create weapons that do upwards of two hundred damage a hit and armor that can allow you to cast spells for literally zero magic.
My character is so overpowered now that I've changes how I play to give myself a challenge. I'm thinking about raising the difficulty because nothing is a challenge right now as a level 41 character who uses one handed swords and magic in the other hand. I feel even more overpowered than I did in Oblivion with 100% reflect damage and 100% magic resist where I could literally stand there doing nothing while enemies killed themselves.
Is there a way to roll back the version?

Im on the quest Compelling Tribute for the Imperials and my current objective is to report back to Hadvar. When I talk to him it wont initiate a conversation so I cant finish the mission. Any suggestions?
Prodigy - I'm afraid I don't have a specific suggestion for that particular glitch, but I suggest you visit the link below and find the specific quest/person that you're talking about. This site is really good about listing known glitches with each and every mission, and the fixes (if they exist).
I am finding that the further I get into this game, the more little glitches like this I am finding - quests that can't be finished because I've already killed some important bandit, or I did some step before another step, etc.

I have had a lot of glitches since the patch yesterday. If you have it on PC look up the code and put it in the console to force it to prompt.

AC - I was somewhere in the Level 30s before I chose sides. Doesn't seem to matter.

I just finished the main quest as a Level 42 Redguard destruction mage. Dual enchanted necklace/ring/armor/gauntlets/helmet with 25% less Destruction/Conjuration cost each, so I'm throwing around Thunderbolt and Incinerate for 0 cost. It got too easy, so I cranked the slider up to Master. Still overpowered.
I kind of wish my character was more weapons based, because the animations look awesome. I don't know if I'm going to do another one with ME3 coming out pretty soon.

This is likely insanely old information, but I literally JUST discovered that I can transfer my save files from the 360 to the PC and vice-versa...............awesome.

Just got the Nightingale armor set. Any suggestions on how to get the most out of it? My smithing is only at 70.
Just find the raw materials needed to improve it the best you can. I don't think you can enchant them sine they already have enchantments. That's about it

It is really easy to get your smithing up. Just build LOTS of iron daggers and leather gear. It is easy to get leather, and iron is cheap to buy and the veins are everywhere. Since anything you create or improve gives the same amount of XP, its a cheap way to help increase smithing. I also create Fortify Smithing potions at alchemy stations before a long night of smithing for that extra boost.
