Ditka was not a great coach. Good but not great. His overall record was 121-95 a .560 winning pct%. He won his only Super Bowl because the Bears Defense was run by Buddy Ryan. After Ryan left the Bears never made another Super Bowl.
Oh so his win % is better than Hall of Fame and Ring of Honor coach Jimmy Johnson. Interesting. If I had stars I would post the eye roll emoji.

Jerry is cheap as you know what - when it comes to hiring coaches. A first time pro coach has been his normal hire aside from Bill Parcells and MM.

This just isn't true. Jerry paid MCC around 8 million a year, which would be a top 10 highest paid coach in the NFL. It's not anywhere near Andy Reid, Sean Payton, or Mike Tomlin at 20, 18 and 16 million per year, but it is far from the bottom of the NFL. You can't say someone is cheap while stating that he literally just had a coach he was paying 8 million a year for.

There is also a window between the Conference Championship and the Super Bowl. There's a 2 week gap and the first week they can talk to those coaches (but it has to be less than 3 hours). At least according to the 105.3 guys

I'll go further. I think most in the football world recognize that he was NOT the problem. I haven't seen many people blaming Saleh for the collapse. Their ownership drafted Zach Wilson because he could throw a football for 70 yards and then brought in Aaron Rodgers, who started acting like a 5-year-old until management bent to his will and never took any responsibility for anything.

If the coach declines to interview, does it still count towards the Rooney rule reqs? Frazier has got to know hes not in the running here.
