Deion has surprisingly proven to be a good head coach. He's turned around two programs in very short order. I do wonder how he'd do in the pros where you can't recruit the talent you need to win. Usually the pantry is what is it is and you have to make do.

Meh, it's not like he's done an impressive coaching job. Their best wins are at Tech and on a Hail Mary to take Baylor to OT. Those two teams are each 6-4. They could have lost to NDSU and they got absolutely blasted by Nebraska. They lost to Kansas State who is well coached and could out physical them.
They have a really good college QB, a generational skill player and 2-3 more really good skill guys at WR. That alone gets you to where they should be, which is 7-3 if not for a ridiculous Hail Mary. Hard to give a guy credit for beating Arizona, Utah's backup QB, UCF, Tech, and Cincinnati when you just have better players.

Deion is a marketer. Helpful for recruiting. I don't see his skills translating to the NFL
At the surface I agree until I dive into his staff and philosophy and then I find a football coach. A marketer wouldn't put together a staff like he did, let them coach, all the well leading the ship for a vision of football (not marketing and branding) he has.DannyDuberstein said:

Yea the wins arent great but he is winning. He collected the talent and has them winning. Dozens of coaches nationwide fail to do that with better rosters every single Saturday but they keep their mouth shut so Texags gives them a pass. Kansas' has one of the most loaded rosters outside of the SEC and they are 4-6. I dont see a single thread talking about that failure.

ETA: Also Kansas has a better win than Colorado does this year.

If Kellen doesn't get the job, then look at Kliff Kingsbury, another guy that could be sold as an offensive genius, but with actual head coaching experience, as well as selling him as a great QB molder (Manziel, Mahomes, and Murray). He'd love to be a head coach again for a team he probably idolized as a young man in Texas and would do everything that the Joneses demand, ala Jason Garrett.

ANYONE that Jerry hires will do his bidding and follow his orders. He learned that from Parcells, that he won't hire another strong personality ever again.

I can think of a few things
We will probably beat Tommy Cutlets and the giants on Thanksgiving, so this team will be 5-7 and thinking they have a shot at the playoffs.
I hate this effing team and I hate football. I give up on the Cowboys season and want them to lose out for draft position and to embarrass their owner/GM and they somehow manage to mess that up. Between the Aggies & Cowboys I'm really considering giving up liking football.
