I haven't watched our last 2 and prob won't watch tomorrow. It's been nice to have Sundays back, but hope it's a 1 season thing

Every cowboys game has been must watch for me since 2005. This is the first year since that it hasn't been the case. I think the Green Bay playoff loss and the terrible offseason just killed a ton of enthusiasm.DannyDuberstein said:

I'm in the apathetic stage at this point. I just want Jerry to retire or sell the team.
After last night I have ZERO interest in watching the Cowboys. I will, but I'm completely checked out on them.

zeke healthy scratch because he doesn't give a **** enough to show up to meetings is such a perfect encapsulation of this ridiculous season. it's almost poetic. we are such a joke.
Him being on the team should have told you all you need to know to start the season.

i am not saying i am surprised by this news or by how bad the cowboys are. you could see the zeke signing coming miles away and i hated the idea of it then. this thing had disaster written all over it before training camp, this is just another example of how they were not prepared for this season at all.

Dak getting caught in 4K saying "we fkn suck" on the sidelines says everything. Say what you want about him talent wise, but he's been the epitome of a bought in team player his entire career, but now he just looks completely uninterested.
I thought the offense actually moved the ball relatively well using the passing game as an extension of the run game. But once again the pre snap penalties killed promising drives. On top of that, McCarthy keeps trying to make the run up the middle happen, but at this point in the season I think it's safe to just scrap that. He tried to force it several times today during promising drives and it backfired every time. Additionally, there's just no weapons at the skill positions outside of Ceedee and Ferg (who needs more targets imo).
At this point I don't think it matters who the QB is, or who the coach is for that matter. This team is just fundamentally broken. McCarthy is toast at the end of the season so just get it over with now because it will only get worse under him. ultimately, as long as Jerry and Stephen are in charge it doesn't matter

While unlikely, should Dallas end up with a high enough draft pick, there is a non-zero chance that Jerry brings in Deion as head coach and drafts Shedeur. It would be the ultimate Showman Jerry move.

Dak's cap hit this year is $43 million. Cooper Rush's cap hit is $3 million. If Rush were the starter all year, would the Cowboys' 3-5 record be any worse?

Not saying that's what I want to happen. I don't. But we've all seen enough of both Dak and McCarthy. Fat man is gone after this season. Dak is laughing all the way to the bank.

I was just thinking the same thing. A lot of them are the top paid guys in the NFL as well. Dak gets a lot of heat for his contract and he 100% needs to play better but the QB market as a whole is ridiculously overpriced rnTksymm7 said:

He took a dead Jackson State program and won 2 conference titles in 3 years. He went to 1-11 and totally dead Colorado and in less than 2 seasons has them 6-2. I'm old and don't understand what the deal is with the Deion hate. He was the GOAT at CB and arguably PR too all while playing a 2nd major league sport. I can't think of anyone in my lifetime that has achieved at a higher level.
Prime has done well, but his style and personality are really suited for college where he can impress kids and recruit/hit the portal. That act probably won't play in the NFL.
Dallas needs to go the way of early all the recent successful HC hires, a young innovative OC who can maximize the last several years of Dak's prime.
