He's a freak the level that few in the NFL are. On a better team he'd be in the conversation of greatest in this generation if he isnt already.

A hobbled Chubb is better than Myles Sanders or any of the others.
And none of them are worth giving up draft capital for.
depends. I'd give a 6th for him

For sure, but that's probably not gonna do it for Cleveland, or another dumb team will be offering more.

Kind of surprised Cowboys aren't interested in Mike Williams. It would seem that a deep play threat would open up the middle for Ferguson and keep coverage away from lamb.

Well, they are 1-6 and just lost their QB and he's in the last year of his contract. I can't imagine they can demand much more than that.

I would even sweeten it if he meets some milestones it could become a 5th.

I don't think you are being realistic. This is a classic lemon problem. Cleveland will only trade Chubb if Chubb isn't any good.

If chubb is great and back Cleveland won't get rid of him for a late round pick.

If chubb isn't great they will trade him for a late round pick (I doubt it still because they gave him a contract after his injury as a loyalty thank you type deal).

Supposedly Myles Garrett is available.

It wouldn't surprise me. The Deshaun Watson miss set them back years and they miss any window with the current stars.

Cooper is gone. Garrett should grab 3 1sts and some. Offload Chubb for whatever you can get. Denzel Ward is still young enough to be in his prime when they're ready to compete again if they reset now .

Who's going to take him if he isn't any good? I think you're looking at this the wrong way. They are more likely to blow the thing up. Why in the world would they want to keep him? Last year of contract. Coming off an injury, even if he is good. Why not get something for him?

Seems to be shaping up to be a big trade deadline. Adams and Coop already dealt. Rumors of Kupp and Myles on the market now. How fun would it be to have Micah and Myles on each side?

Jerry's interview this morning made it sound a lot like McCarthy will be gone at the end of the season

I don't think you understood the lemon problem (a common economic problem of party asymmetry uses referencing used car sales). Basically you won't be able to buy Chubb cheap if he is actually good. You won't want to buy him if he isn't actually good. You'd be a fool to buy him paying as if he is good because theoretically Cleveland should only move him if he is bad.

Again nfl teams don't typically do a full warehouse sell. Guys like Garrett and Cooper that can get value could be moved.

Again, they are 1-6. Just lost their QB. If he is good, they would be crazy not to get something for him as he is 29 and in the last year of his deal, unless they plan to resign him which I doubt.

His contract had expired last year so Cleveland signed him after he had his terrible injury. I think there is loyalty there.

He signed a 3/36. He had 1 year left on it. They renegotiated the last year to 2 million. Not sure how much loyalty he owes them. I guess maybe a little bc they at least made sure he had a job. But they also just gave him the minimum.

Interesting article wondering if the tours at The Star are a huge distraction and preventing the Cowboys from getting over the hump. Seems like they are wildly unpopular among the players.

That's hilarious, my wife is there today watching practice with her company which is the tax partner of the Cowboys.

She hates the Cowboys and was pleased to update me when Dak threw a pick.

Report: Chiefs finalizing trade for DeAndre Hopkins

Deandre Hopkins traded for a 5th rounder that could become a 4th if he's awesome. Too bad our front staff is asleep at the wheel

Hopkins isn't turning the Cowboys around

No argument there, but he's a clear upgrade to what we have. Especially for a team that's "all-in", whose GM said recently that there is no way to improve the roster mid season

Hopkins is 32. Had a 1000 yard season last year with a cast of QBs. Early Christmas present for Mahomes.

The fact is that the Chiefs are proactive. Pretty much the opposite of that football team from Dallas…

I don't want to ever see us take a Michigan player ever again.

Cash flow seems to be an issue. Too many law suits. The Cowboys will slog through the season then let McCarthy's contract expire so they can run it back with Kellen Moore.

What Jerry hears is draft Donovan Edwards in the 1st round next year

No, not exactly. We've all heard of Donovan Edwards. Jerry would rather have a defensive nose guard who would have been available in round 5.

Question for Cowboy fans.

I think everyone can agree Cowboy's fans fill up other teams stadiums the best. What team brings their fans to Dallas the best? (Texans fans/proximty excluded)
