Yep. If the FBI thought it was Daley they would have found some kind of PC to hold him. I am not even sure they took him to the Sheriiff station for questioning.

Whatever happened with all this?

I have a feeling it didn't go anywhere because it was nothing but internet ****posting the whole time.

Except for the fact that every claim made in this thread concerning the Daley/Day subject was backed up with actual receipts and legit links to sourcing. And yet you offer nothing but the claim "sh*t posting" bolstering your personal opinion which you seem to think is actual fact without offering any anything to support it. Completely ignoring this sheriff has been handling this case on such a disastrous level of incompetence, that if they do manage to catch an actual perpetrator, they likely will never get a conviction that will stand up under appeal. Nanos has goal tended for the family and polluted the entire thing with his personal politics, but you carry on with your own agenda.....

hard to believe we still don't know if this was amateur or professional

or if Savannah's celebrity status is relevant to the case

(i.e. the kidnappers knew Nancy had a celebrity daughter -- before the abduction)

They don't know **** and I blame both Savannah (for not going straight to authorities) and local LEO for avoiding FBI

I think it changes based on time zone because mine said 6pm. Could just be a poorly designed website doing a timestamp conversion that isn't necessary. Could also be that the report filed date is actually tied to the last seen date and time or that that time is used for it in the system.

ETA It's probably a time conversion thing. Feb 1 at the international date line would be 5pm January 31st in Arizona. The date field is the date, but the website is trying to converta zulu timestamp when it doesn't need to.

If your 84 year old mother lived 4 miles away from you why would you make her take an Uber to your house? That seems weird.

If daughter and SIL were both home one of them couldn't take 15 minutes to go get her? Maybe that was usual for them but not something I would do.

With the short distance between their homes, this is the period that I would like to better understand:

11:15 a.m. - Nancy's friend calls Annie to tell her Nancy didn't show up to watch church
11:56 a.m. - Annie arrives to check on Nancy

Did Annie trying call her over and over again while in route? How long and why did it take her so long to get to the house?

This seems to be an emergency but not a panic level emergency. She is probably not involved but I am just curious. My mother is about the same again. My sisters would be in panic from 11:15 until they got to the house.

Maybe she was cooking and dude was still at the golf course. Any number of reasons, none of which are important at this point.

Not sure why it matters. Could be for whatever reason. Son in law dropped her off after dinner, so they didn't make her uber back.

Do we know what exact number was called? No one has home phones so I assume it was a cell number.

Do we know where Annie was when she got the phone call? Maybe she wasn't home and it took her that long to get from wherever she was to her mom's place?

Lot of reasons why it may have taken that long. Question is can LEOs corroborate Annie's alibi of why it took that long.

Lot's of assuming going on, like assuming that annie can even cook. Regardless still haven't scene any real explanation for the inaccuracies of the incident report on the official PCSD website.

Something else I find interesting, I've watched several interviews with Nanos and in several he likes to allude to some of his blunders in interviews or press conferences are because he's not comfortable on camera. Well the Pima County Sheriff's Department is currently involved in a reality/docuseries on A&E. The show is called "Desert Law." It premieres in 2026 and production crews follow patrol deputies and units from the Pima County Sheriff's Department as they work across Tucson and the surrounding desert region.

Quote:

According to A&E's show description, the series has "elite access" and documents the real day-to-day work of deputies, including patrol, DUI enforcement, and night operations across the county's large jurisdiction.

This high profile case must be great for ratings

Have any of y'all had the thought that when you see the pictures on a headline of Savannah and her Mom, Nancy; She seems to have an overly sense of affection to her? It almost seems like a possessive trait?

I'm probably completely off base here. I grew up with minimized physical family affection as a kid because I was trying to kiss my kindergarten teacher, but the amount of "doting" involved with the granny and her spotlighted adult daughter seems very bizarre...

I just get the icks with this whole news story.
