I think the body is way across the border, never to be found. I still can't grasp that there's no video of the escape vehicle entering a main road at 2 in the morning. There can't be that much, if any, traffic

I doubt they'd even take her to the border and risk getting caught with her at the border crossing station...Plenty of places to dump her in the desert in AZ that it may take years for someone to stumble onto the remains, maybe never if they buried her good. Thousands of acres of vacant desert between Tuscon and Yuma, and Tuscon headed east to New Mexico..

There are probably 10 billboards up in the Houston area now. Showed the locations on a map on the local Houston news a few nights ago.

This. No reason to expose yourself to extra scrutiny / screening with dogs, full vehicle searches, etc. Could be the perpetrators made it across the border in the hours/days afterward but if they did they almost certainly were rolling "clean."

That isn't politicizing, that is basic investigation work. It is no different than when you take a stolen vehicle report the first thing you do is make sure it isn't in the tow log. If there is a more than zero chance that she was picked up by immigration then he would be remiss not to check with them.

Yeah, when the authorities realized the ransom stuff was a scam, they should have been cruising the desert days ago around Tuscon with helicopters and drones looking for buzzards on the off chance they didn't bury the body and just dumped it.

Probably wouldn't hurt to do that search ever so often for a few weeks in case the coyotes dig her up...

ROTFLMAO! About a dozen years ago, The Hubs went berserk about camera security on the ranch, including right on the back of the house big deck. He had one TV in the ManCave tuned to those cameras. So shortly after they were installed, he stepped outside to pee off of the deck.

He comes back in and I give him a thumbs up.

That's funny and a great story. My son started seeing a girl and after a few dates, we get to meet her three children from a prior marriage. Awesome little ones, my grandchildren now. So, the first time they come over we are all sitting around the pool and her crew and some of our other grandchildren are swimming. Her little boy, who was 3 years old, gets out, walks over to a flower bed on the far side of the pool, has his back to us, pulls down his swimsuit, and starts to pee. She gets all flustered, telling him "no", after all she didn't really know us, and we didn't know her, she was worried we would freak out. I told her don't worry, that happens all the time with our grandchildren.

Later, her youngest daughter who was 4, goes to the end of the pool by the diving board, faces away, steps into the flower bed. I see her reach in front and apparently pulled the swimsuit bottom to the side and pees standing up. Her mom was inside getting something, I didn't bother to tell her, lol.

If today was the "final ransom" day, she may still be alive somewhere, who knows. they better be checking in all cars crossing the border the next few weeks, who ever has her would probably dispose of her in Mexico i would think (i she is not alive anymore) just my 2 cents from my couch

With all the wide open empty spaces north of the border to dump her where she will never be found, there is zero reason for anybody to risk trying to move a dead body across the border through 2 checkpoints just to get rid of it.

I'm late to this thread, but will ask a dumb question:

If that perp had gloves on, wouldn't he have pulled them on with his hands? That's the only way I can put my gloves on.

So would his DNA then be on the gloves?

And if so, could his DNA on the gloves be then transferred to the surfaces that he was touching with his gloves?

Interesting video, It looks close but does not look like the same guy unless the other guy was wearing multiple layers of clothing to appear stockier. In this video the man isn't wearing the mask and is bald headed, they blurred out his head to not doxx him.
