They probably geo fenced this guy from the night of the crime.. ran his ID and thought they had it. Delivery guy probably had some weird routes locked on and the rest is history.

The guy they detained was released and determined not related to this. They brought in the elite FBI team for this lead.
Would have to think with the crypto transfer and media coverage events last night producing nothing, the odds of finding Nancy just dropped all the way to nearly 0.

Yeah, though I am not convinced that there is such a thing.

Wait, I went to bed and thought we had the suspect and supposedly Nancy was being air lifted to a hospital. Clearly that's not accurate now.

I have not read all 28 pages but why is there such a fuss over this elderly lady? People go missing every day with most of them being children and yet this is making national news being carried on every channel, we are bringing in the FBI, breaking into normal TV schedules to announce a possible suspect is in custody, etc. This smacks of elitism since it's the mother of a TV anchor. I hope they find her alive and well, but we should spend more time trying to find missing kids that are at a much greater risk of sexual assault, slavery, etc. IMO.

When law enforcement breaks down your door and determines they have the wrong suspect, who pays for repairs? Is that the responsibility of the homeowner?

You're SOL if you want anything repaired or reimbursed

How is it that the FBI or local cops have no clue what type of automobiles approached or left areas near Guthrie's house at 2am? Seriously wtf?

All because she's the mom of some talk show host?
If you pulled this stunt in my neighborhood, we have two videos and LPR, before you get to my house and most of the neighborhood. Then the bad the bad guys leave; more of the same. Then there's anything that my neighbors cams pic up. Then theres the cameras and LPR that the locals, state or businesses have put up. I live in a rural ish area too. I get that the guy may have pulled or swapped plates, but the vehicle used is a key piece of evidence.bonfarr said:Burnsey said:

How would they know unless someone in the public reported seeing a vehicle? One person did and cops tracked it to Circle K and obtained a video but sure looks like it didn't lead anywhere.
The area of town where Nancy lives has an ordinance against exterior lighting after certain hours and that has limited eyewitness accounts and makes most video from security cams worthless
