I think that is the problem they are facing, at least based on the publicly known facts. They have no idea who has her and if the ransom notes are real. Without some proof that they have her and that she is alive, what are they paying for?

Those who say she was killed earlier in the night - her pacemaker was active until 2 am.

Overall, I think she has passed away. No way she is still alive.

My brother has a pacemaker and it alerts his doctor for any abnormal event when it is connected and I would think if the heart stopped beating that would apply.

Im no doctor, but I think it would have showed up on the app, something like cardiac arrest. I think it is just showing up as out of range. OK, I'm totally dumb!

I was wondering if the doctor could monitor it.

The deadline has come and gone. The SIL hasn't been seen in a week since allegedly dropping his mother-in-law off at her home after dinner & games at his house. Authorities have no clue where she is and have no body.

The Pima County Medical Examiner's Office has recorded over 4,000 cases of human remains found in the desert in their county since 2000.

4,000 people that they found dead.

That's a lot.

Here's another thing everyone best keep in mind. In the Arizona desert, human remains can transition to skeletonization in as little as 6-9 days. Factor in the varmints and insect activity and a body is gone pretty quick. Tucson area is in the 80's this time of year during the days and get down in the 50's at night. If she was dumped in the desert, there's nothing but bones left. Bodies don't last long in the brush.

Yeah, and there's hundreds of square miles of desert in all directions from Tuscon. The police must truly think this kidnapping thing is legit, and the kidnappers still have her or her remains. I think some young cartel dude(s) got stupid and greedy and saw an easy scenario to take her.. Who knows if they still have her or not. Maybe they think somehow they can still get ransom money for giving up information. Maybe they got smart and figured out they were in over their head and just killed and dumped her and some other unrelated scamming outsiders are asking for ransom.

I think if it were anyone close to her or some amateur kidnapper, they'd already be cooked, that's why I think this is some Cartel thing and they headed South.

No doubt it's easy to dump a body in the desert. Most of the bodies they find are illegals that couldn't make it. I'm still surprised they haven't been calling for the public, ATV'ers, Drone owners, etc to help get out in the desert and search. Sad to say it, but get out there while the buzzards might still be circling and help locate a body in all that wide open land.. There's tons of Jeep and ATV owners in Arizona and tons of roads/ trails in the desert that hunters and ATV enthusiast use.

With her mother already missing in a potential ransom kidnapping where they are rumored to be willing to pay the ransom, I would imagine the very last thing she wants to do is expose more of her family to publicity.

Why on earth would they want to make this public information right now?!?!

It makes no sense if you're going to kidnap somebody for a ransom to send the ransom note to TMZ. You would want to send it to a family member with the instruction to keep it quit and hope they pay it without law enforcement getting involved. Cartel kidnappings exist because they know none of them can call the police for help because they're all fugitives. Most murders are done by people close to the victim (family, friends, etc). I hope for the families sake it is a dumb person wanting a ransom and she's still alive, but everyday that goes by it gets more grim.

If you didn't know a contact for the family then why not send it to NBC or the producers of her show?

I think the TMZ letter is fake and a good probability the one sent to the local news in Tucson is also a fake scammer

"Show up for church" can also mean login and make public your name to those watching the service online. That's how one online stream which I know about worked during Covid.

I just asked a few hours ago what @SenMarkKelly was doing in the first few days after Nancy was reported missing. He said he was remaining involved after Savannah called him before the public became aware she was missing.

Now I know the answer. He was running interference because he hates Donald Trump. And quite frankly, I wouldn't doubt if Savannah called him and asked him not to allow them in at all.

DAYS went by before the FBI (and all of their investigators and all of their technology) were even allowed to help!

Everyone knows that the first days are the most crucial in finding a missing person.

We were asking why the FBI didn't take over this investigation from the very second a reporter was allowed to walk all over the crime scene.

It's crystal clear now, the @PimaSheriff is an a-hole, and so is the Senator. They destroyed this investigation and could have very well cost Nancy her life. SHAME ON THEM!

Now, it's 8 days later and the chances of finding Nancy Guthrie are .01%
