Entin just a ten minute interview with the mother-in-law of Carlos. He showed the photos released today to her l and she said it did not resemble Carlos. She also said she didn't know anything about Bitcoin.

Her son-in-law and daughter had been evicted from their home and were living with them and driving door dash to make money. He goes to Tucson during the week and stays with her during the weekend.

Police seized her phone, her husband's phone, her son-in-law's phone, her daughters phone, and her grandkids phone. They took him from the home in in handcuffs.

She said she had seen something on Facebook about the Guthrie situation but hadn't been following it closely.

Carlos Palazuelos is the alleged kidnapper of Nancy Guthrie who was detained earlier today.

Carlos is a convicted sex offender who went to prison for 5 years in 2005

They've botched this up so bad, here's an interview with the detainee's mother in law, the car is registered in her daughter's name, he's a delivery driver and the Mother in Law said she gave a consent to search so why the big drama over the court ordered search warrant.

Her name is Josefina Maddox, her daughter Jocelyn, who is listed to live at that address and at an address in Nogales is married to Carlos Palazuelos, the Carlos mentioned. He's 36 years old and has addresses in Tucson, Rio Rico, including the 425 Camino Agosto house they are currently searching, according to public records.

She has an active FB profile with a photo of the two



At the zillow listing of the house, which hasn't been sold since '92, the Nissan Rogue in questioned is out front in the driveway.


Additionally, a property in Tucson listed under many Palazeulos including an Alejandro (maybe a brother?) who is listed to work as a delivery driver too is about 30mins from Catalina Foothills.
