I bet they consider changing some rules on the low light neighborhoods in AZ. Like maybe have a camera and good light near each entrance/ exit to the neighborhood...People like their stars and night skys out here though, so maybe nothing changes.

I can see the people that recently moved here in last decade or so being freaked out by this abduction, but long term or Native Arizonans probably just think it was crazy of her to live in a neighborhood like that alone at her age with a famous daughter and move on from this after the news cycle is over. Doubt they'll lose sleep over it.

It takes a lot to rattle the Native Arizonans and long term people that have lived here. It's like the Wild West sometimes out here, but mostly pretty laid back. I mean we live in a desert near a bad border and crazy stuff happens ever so often, just used to it.

When my son was a young lad I certainly taught him to pee outdoors when appropriate.

Him getting home from school one day and peeing on the tree in the front yard was the result. He didn't want his mom to see him so he faced the street. He also had a tendency to fully drop drawers when pissing.

Still proud of him for that. His mom, not so much.

I heard that no one is staying there or has stayed there for a number of days. I have not followed that aspect too closely so that may be incorrect.

However, I agree with you they bungling of this from Day 1 has made an ultimate conviction very difficult.

Maybe Mark Kelly was not the best first person for SG to call.

That's a small part of it. What actually happened was that the LAPD tech person on stand establishing foundation for the introduction of the glove, left it on the stand instead of putting it back into the box. (It happens.)

Courtroom is essentially empty and F. Lee goes to stand and measures his hand to the glove. Knows he has smaller hands but also knows that OJ takes anti-inflammatory drugs to keep the swelling in his knuckles and fingers down.

Flee goes to Cochran with it. Cochran takes OJ's arthritis drugs away and goes to work on needling Chris Darden (black prosecutor) to get him to make OJ try on the glove. Darden says he's going to do it to Marcia Clark and she goes ballistic that there is no way, no how he can do that.

But Cochran keeps smirking and making fun of Darden in the courtroom and he does it anyway. Gloves have tightened up from blood and are stiff. OJ's hands are swollen from his form of arthritis.

"Glove don't fit..." you know the rest.

ROTFLMAO! About a dozen years ago, The Hubs went berserk about camera security on the ranch, including right on the back of the house big deck. He had one TV in the ManCave tuned to those cameras. So shortly after they were installed, he stepped outside to pee off of the deck.

He comes back in and I give him a thumbs up.
"Great profile shot...of your d*** while you were peeing. Your face, not so much."

He changed camera angles.

I would have installed a wide angle lens for "artistic effect".

I long ago posted pics from a trip that included a pic of me watering the countryside. TexAgs was just as ruthless 20 years ago as it is today.

I can't think of the last time a high profile case had someone arrested that didn't end up being the one charged. They usually are pretty good about connecting the dots before they make an arrest. This one just seems like a huge screw up or the dots they connected just randomly hit on the wrong guy.
