How long do you want to ignore this user?
Theories I have about Lost...

1. The big black dude is actually one of the drug smugglers from the crashed plane with heroin.
2. The company that is responsible for the bunker and the movie is Sun's Dad's company, the one Jin worked for.
3. Something coming from the bunker is causing the sickness on the outside.
4. Ana Lucia sucks ass and needs to be killed off from the show as fast as possible.

I know.... I dind't DVR it because I was watching it. I have no idea what he said in the beginning.

Didn't Jack's ex-wife (Carol Vessy) was involved in a head on collision? I wonder if it's the same as the one that killed Shannon's dad.

EDIT: But I am DVRing Invasion (And Veronica Mars). Invasion is in a bad time spot. Lost is sometimes so intense that when it's over I really don't want to try and follow another serious show with diferent plot lines. I always watch it on Thursday.

Yes it was Jack's wife that killed her dad. They kind of alluded to that in that episode (Rutherford, dead at 8:15). I sure someone out there will have the wispers figured out by tomorrow

Wade, Jack makes the decision in the ER to work on Carol Vessey and not Shannon's dad, who then died at 8:15. In the flashback, ou saw Jack walk by Shannon and her stepmom tonight as they came in to speak to the other doctor.

I really hated Shannon, and her storyline really didn't have many loose ends so I wasn't surprised about her tonight. What on earth has she done (besides having a hot body) to earn Sayid's love, especially so soon after he was flying to LA to find Nadia?

The whispers seem pretty unintelligible. Closed captioning didn't yield anything on Walt, who seemed to be speaking backwards again. Going to be an interesting dynamic now back at the "merged tribe."

Why are the Others nabbing kids? Sounds like they nabbed some from the tail section survivors. Are they the same people as the Dharma people? I'm thinking no.

I think the backwards part after he says "they are close" is Shannon's reply (which is now backwards).

I replayed the scene where they're carrying Sawyer up the hill. The girl who disappears (Cindy?) is helping them at the beginning, and then you see Libby being helped up and no Cindy, so they nabbed her right then.

Interesting how they tried to make Shannon somewhat redeemable tonight before finishing her off. Interesting too all the fake PR they've put out recently on that actress buying a house in Hawaii, just as they put out that the actress playing Rose had to miss filming too (just as they've increased her character's involvement).

Entertainment Weekly has a good recap of last night's episode: http://www.ew.com/ew/article/commentary/0,6115,1128177_3_0_,00.html

Noteable in there is a theory about Cindy's disappearance:

quote:
While Shannon and Sayid were plumbing the soon-to-be irrelevant depths of Shannon's psyche, some far more interesting developments were taking place on a jungle escarpment not too far away.

The Tailies and their new friends, Michael, Jin, and Sawyer, were hiking towards Forward-Section camp when they came upon a steep embankment. They began to scale the rise, dragging Sawyer (feverish from his gunshot wound) on a makeshift stretcher. Bringing up the rear of their little caravan were Libby and Cindy. Now here's where things get interesting: By the time they reached the top of the ridge, Cindy was gone, presumably ''taken'' by the Others. How did this happen?

With Libby's help.

I'm calling it: Libby's a plant. She's the Ethan of the Tailies' camp.

First off, go to the tape. Libby's the last one to interact with Cindy. And Cindy's carrying a large blue knapsack. By the time they've climbed to the top, Libby's carrying the knapsack. You're telling me she took the knapsack from Cindy and then proceeded to forget all about her? This is a ridge, not K-2 — you don't just ''lose'' people like that. Also notable: Cindy hands Libby a walking stick of some sort, just before we lose track of her completely. As this handoff takes place, we see a cavelike opening in the background, right where Cindy's about to pass. And it looks as if there's some sort of shape inside.

But here's my best evidence of Libby's treachery: Tonight, she told Sawyer she's a clinical psychologist. Well, who appears to have designed this tropical house of horrors, according to a certain orientation video? A team of clinical psychologists, that's who. Coincidence? What do you think? Is there such a thing as coincidence in the world of television drama? Consult the little Locke on your left shoulder (as opposed to the tiny Jack on your right).

Saw this on one of the posts on that EW website:

"Ana Lucia didnt kill shannon. If you taped the show, please do yourselves a favor and watch the end. Shannon was stabbed. Sayid is cradling Shannon. Freeze frame it. A shadowy character is watching, holding a knife in his/her left hand. When Syaid stands and sees Ana, she is holding a gun in her RIGHT hand. And look at shannon's wound: it's a stb wound. Ana didnt kill Shannon."

Dammit, I've got to go home at lunch and see if it's still on my DVR and watch that scene again.

I just went back and watched that last scene, and I didn't see any extra people with knives around, but maybe I'm blind. Shannon's wound wasn't shown long enough for me to discern it was a stab wound.

I think the Libby as a plant theory is interesting.

There is an image of the wound at:

It doesn't look like a bullet wound. I haven't found a screen shot yet of the background showing a shadowy other.

Doesn't look like they'll get into Shannon's death next week.

One thing I just picked up on: I think Cindy was the flight attendant that gave Jack the extra alcohol.

Rumor has that Shannon's death will be explained in ep 8. I have no idea what episode # we are on now.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
Next week is episode 7. That's when they are suppose to explain the story of the tail-end surviors. Episode 8 is when they pick back up with Ana shooting Shannon.

Here's a picture of the attacker that supposedly stabbed Shannon:

It should be pictures 831 and 832.
