NonReg, the only answer I have is that Ethan was also clean cut. I'm curious as to how the others have people who are such good actors they can infiltrate both groups and play the role of survivor so convincingly.
The "Black Rock" theory is interesting, but why wouldn't the Dharma people have known about them if they'd been living on the island for 100+ years?

According to the DVD commentary, they have the first 5 or 6 seasons outlined if the show goes that long.
I slowed down the whispers on a digital audio editing program and increased the volume. The result was meaningless babble. I was baffled.

anyway, so I'm working alot and had to tape (yes, tape) the show and stupid me hasn't set the clock back on my VCR so to be short, my tape ended without me seeing the end of the episode. I was on Day 41 with Ana crying into Eko's arms then it cut to commercial. Did I miss anything important after that? I don't want to resort to buying it from iTunes.

It just fast forwarded to them losing the chick, and then Ana Lucia shooting Shannon. And there is no doubt she shot her. Entrance and exit wounds.
Pennypacker...I don't know if I heard this on the commentary on the DVD for Lost or what but I remember someone saying that they already have the ending...
That was a .45 Colt pistol that showed empty after Ana shot her.

This was a great episode.
I'm not a big fan of Ana-Lucia (and Michelle Rodriguez, for that matter), but I really like how absolutely flawed her character is. She's constantly wrong and she knows it (unlike Jack).

I was very worried about this show having jumped the shark this season. They have totally redeemed themselves. I still hate Ana Lucia, but the reunion on the beach was the best sequence since the montage on the plane at the end of the first season.
I guess I haven't followed it close enough..... What is the connection between Jack and Ana Lucia?
They met at airport bar in Sydney before the flight. I believe they were supposed to get another drink together when they landed in LA, but I'm not sure.
I want to know how Ana Lucia went from having straight teeth as a cop, to having crooked teeth before getting on Oceanic 815, to having straight teeth on the island.
