Twin Peaks? It was a show from the very early 90's that was about an FBI agent trying to figure out a murder in a crazy, messed up town.
Midgets, crazy dreams, cherry pie, and that fellow who's hair turned white are all I remember.

Phoenix, that's what I thought too. But if they've been there 16 years, and she had the kid after they got there, he'd be much older than what that kid looked. But it was just his feet, so who knows.

when the others walked by, the first two sets of legs looked exactly like the two sets of legs that came before the teddy bear - dirt marks and everything.

I don't believe the people on the boat are the same as "The Others". The people on the boat may be in control of those guys, but I don't think they have the "sickness".
When I was watching this episonde, the thing that struck me right off was the second groups radio. Remember when Boone was in the drug plane and sent a message like "Help, we are the survivors of oceanic flight 815" and the immediate response was "No, we are the survivors of flight 815". That had to come from them on the other side of the island.

We played with TiVo on that scene for a good 15 minutes arguing. the consensus was the reply was (with added emphasis)

I missed the episode 2 weeks ago, the one that followed the episode where they were pushing the button in the bunker.
I have 2 questions since I don't have Tivo and don't know anyone with a copy.
1) Since Locke was in this week's episode and obviously not in the bunker pushing the button, what did they decide to do?
2) Did I miss the part where Jin spoke English? I remember seeing it on the teaser for the next episode (the one I missed).
Ugh...I hate missing episodes! And yes, it said the next *NEW* episode won't be for 3 weeks!

Actually Jin is learning and speaking a few english phrases. But, Jin speaking in the commercial teaser was in the dream.
So I thought I missed another episode last night until I remembered that I was having to wait freaking forever to watch a new one.
So this is the one time I'm glad I did miss.
