If this doesn't win for Production Design, they need to stop giving that award.

Just want to say, that for me this movie was easily the best movie. If it loses any awards to Irishman its a travesty.

Agreed.

I disagree. I think both were fantastic, though I do give the edge to OUATIH. But it's a slight edge. I wouldn't consider Irishman winning a travesty.

If it were up to me, I'd give Actor to Leo over DeNiro, but might give Supporting to Pesci over Pitt.

I'd probably give Director to QT given that he's never won before.

Musical/Comedy? Good lord, this category continues to get more and more ridiculous.

It was. So was Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas, Casino, Wolf of Wall Street, etc.

I was thinking maybe he was talking about Kurt Russel in Death Proof?

Which would be doubly cool because he not only was playing a stuntman in that movie, but he cast him again as a stunt coordinator in OUATIH.

I was thinking the same thing. I never saw Death Proof, but I was definitely thinking Kurt Russel.

Whaaa? I find the fact that you haven't seen QT's full filmography both surprising and disappointing.

I've actually never seen Jackie Brown or The Hateful Eight either, and I've only seen Reservoir Dogs once, years ago, and I wasn't a huge fan. I love Tarantino, but if I'm being honest, some of his stuff just isn't my thing. I think Pulp Fiction, Inglorious Basterds, and Once Upon a Time In Hollywood are all masterpieces, and I really enjoyed the Kill Bill movies, but outside of those I could take or leave the rest.

Yeah, I really think that TCTTS will love Jackie Brown. I'm genuinely shocked that he's never checked it out.

I thought Django Unchained was fine. LOVED DiCpario's performance, thought the rest was fun/decent. I never saw The Hateful Eight mostly because of the so-so reviews, but also because it honestly looked kind of tedious to me and not something I wanted to sit in a theater for. Then I just never got around to seeing it at home, but admittedly have been tempted by the new mini-series conversion. As for Jackie Brown, that came out before I was super into movies, and it's one of those I've just never gotten around to seeing since. It's the only one I haven't seen that I actively want to, I just never think to and there's always something else I "need" to watch instead. I've sworn off midnight showings, as I just can't stay up that late in a theater anymore and actually enjoy the movie, but I'll try to watch it on streaming when I get the chance.

And yeah, that terminal is used in a ton of stuff, but I'm pretty sure it's not just terminal four that has that wall design. There's at least one other hallway like that without the people mover that I've been through a bunch of times, but I can't remember the number. It was whatever the Virgin terminal was before Alaskan bought them and moved to terminal six.

I agree, you would like Jackie Brown. If I had to point you to one movie to watch, it would be that one.

Watch it. Now.

It actually may be my favorite Tarantino movie, and it's by far his most under appreciated. It also has an Oscar-nominated performance from Robert Forster, who is just so perfect in the role. This movie is just so good.

And it is really cool that Michael Keaton's character shows up again in "Out of Sight", since his character was in both Elmore Leonard novels.
