Back to the original topic, QT probably has the most fun making movies of any filmmaker, and this is the key to his success, no matter how ridiculous any one of his conceits in his movies are.
Maybe I'll regret asking this, but which (living) filmmakers do you place above him? I can think of maybe ten or fifteen, maybe just a few if you restrict this to Americans.
Because you will maybe learn something this time? I was kind of meh on everything past pulp and thought I would never love another qt movie like I love pulp. Jango was fine. And then i watched once upon a time. That movie was bad ass! Brad and Leo were so great at their craft. There are just as many rewatchable parts in once as there is in pulp
