I started, but stopped about a 1/3rd the way through because I didn't have the time. It was sorta boring up to that point. I don't count this movie in my revenge-pron point. I didn't watch enough of it to determine one way or another.

Okay. I remember you because I laughed at your post then. You're the guy that didn't like Oppenheimer and was mad because he didn't think Florence Pughs boobs were up the standard worthy of showing on film.

What are you even doing trying to watch a QT movie? You should stick to movies that can be classified as "franchises". Particularly those with lots of explosions, CGI sharks, and superheroes. And definitely any franchise that is on at least its 4th installment.

You sure you mean to talk to me? I have made fun of Marvel, Transformers, and all the other BS this board loves.

And if you think Kill Bill and Django were somehow "sophisticated", then I don't know what to tell you.

He thinks the last original story of QTs is Jackie Brown, yet it was an adaptation of the Elmore Leonard book Rum Punch. Bhahahahaha

Your "critiques" are paper-thin, but that's to be expected, given your moronic takes in the strike thread.

QT is one of our last great auteurs, and will be badly missed if he sticks to his guns by permanently retiring from filmmaking after his next movie.

LOL.. then why don't you actually make an argument against me in the strike thread? Use your "superior" intellect to prove me wrong? What are you afraid of?

And QT's work is not great. It's merely decent at best. If you really think Kill Bill is some sort of great work, then I don't know what to tell you..

Why would I read one of those (again) when they just regurgitate Chicago School thought?

Back to the original topic, QT probably has the most fun making movies of any filmmaker, and this is the key to his success, no matter how ridiculous any one of his conceits in his movies are.

Maybe I'll regret asking this, but which (living) filmmakers do you place above him? I can think of maybe ten or fifteen, maybe just a few if you restrict this to Americans.

Nearly every other director that I can think of off the top of my head is better than QT. I would put Tim Burton under him. Every movie of his that I have seen has been a disappointment. At least I have enjoyed a few QT movies.

What a waste of time. Who the F do you think you are going to prove anything to???? I spend ZERO of my time on threads about things I don't like. Going there to try to prove something is shallow, insecure, immature and generally pathetic behavior for an adult. Grow up.

And the notion that people can only opine in threads if they love subject of them makes no sense. Everybody saying how much they love everything all the time would make this an even worse board than it already is.
