Any word on who is composing the soundtrack?

Given Kosinski's past collaboration with electronic producers (Daft Punk for Tron, and Anthony Gonzalez of M83 for Oblivion), I'm hoping he does the same here. A synthwave producer, like The Midnight or FM-84, would be the perfect fit for this film, IMO.

I heard on teh radio that Val Kilmer was signed up to be in this.

Is that true? And if so, how is that possible. I thought he'd pretty much lost the ability to talk, because of cancer. The last video i saw of him (with his kids), you could hardly understand a word he said.

That's hard to watch, but I'm actually glad he isn't hiding or shying away from it. Hope that interaction with his kids was as sincere as it seemed.

It was on a few nights ago and the wife and I watched part of it for the hundreth time.

I told her that I feel right now the same way I felt when I saw this movie 30 years ago: I love pretty much every scene that Kelly McGillis isn't in.

Not that she's a bad actress or anything. It's just that I'm watching Top Gun for the dogfighting and the camaraderie & competitive nature of the pilots.

The love story sucks. The "You've Lost that Loving Feeling" scene still makes me cringe.
