And after the gunshot you hear both the spent casing followed by the gun hitting the floor. It's a little harder to hear the casing, but it's certainly there.
I think it was the gun hitting the ground.

TVLINE | Why did she spend so much time staring at Zombie Milton instead of picking up those damn pliers?
[Laughs] You know, it was a struggle. A very tense situation. If you’ve never been strapped to a chair watching someone die before you I don’t know that you can really judge how someone behaved. [Laughs]

I would probably freak out as I tried to grab those pliers the second Milton mentioned he hid them there.

We know this because TexAgs is a representative/predictive sample of AMC viewership?

I cannot accept someone sitting in a room with a person about to turn into a zombie and just having a conversation when you know you can willfully get out of the situation. Just doesn't fit. At least everything else can be explained away somehow.

Can we all agree she was at least a decent piece? Maybe if she didnt talk? I mean, things are not looking good out there as far as potential hawts.

4. If I'm Martinez or the other guy, I shoot the gorvernor on the spot after his psycho moment. Made no sense to me why one of them didn't shoot him.

-Governor will definitely be back. He might be the best villain on TV right now.
quote:Totally agree. I admit the writers are trying to make it more about Carl becoming super hard in the sense of kill all threats. I think they could have made the point better if the guy had put his gun down right away. Frankly, I watched the scene and thought "homie deserves it for not dropping his gun right away"
1. When the kid was handing over his gun, I do remember thinking why it was taking him so long to put it down. About the time I completed that thought Carl pulled the trigger.
quote:Dude was a twerp. I guess to be fair, if the zombieA was the moment you started having to use a gun, you might show some hesitation at killing another human being.
3. I thought it was ridiculous that Allen (hopefully the right name) was so slow to react while holding a gun in the firing position that the governor was able to fully raise his arm and fire without Allen even reacting. It's not like the governor fired from the hip.
quote:Follow your leader syndrome. I think the Gov was clear he valued his men above the Woodbury faithful. I think Martinez was like "well, he's gotten me this far. Plus, everybody knows I'm his right hand man, they might string me up with him"

5. I loved the line "Kill or die, or die then kill."

one thing that bothers be is they have all those zobmies milling around outside the fence. Why not draw them up and spike their heads like they do when someone is leaving?
Do that a few times a day and you don't have to scramble when someone needs to drive out and risk hitting one and busting up a car.
