well that makes sense i thought it was just thrown out there just to see if people actually knew her name.
Oh right it is Beth. I saw Emily and didn't even question it. Lol.
The pacing of season 3 has been really fast, faster than the previous ones. While its been a great season so far, its been at the expense of character development. I suspect things will slow down and the writers will add some depth as we now have 4 groups to follow (team prison, woodbury, tyreese's gang and daryl/merle).

Thanks to another thread, I just started listening to the podcast "We're Alive". I've found it to be more compelling than Walking Dead, and I think it avoids many of the issues we all have with this show.

listening to it now... this is like real life as in they know what zombies are unlike in Walking dead where zombies were never thought of.
It's great. Except for Datu. That guy sucks.

agreed. I've never read the comic (never been a comic guy), but I read the spoilers thread throughout the season and it's sad how bad the writers **** this show up.
I watch this purely for zombie/apocalyptic entertainment, at this point. I'm glad I watch a lot better shows that know how to put a good story and legit acting together.

Anyway, episode was a meh to me. It was nice to see new content, but as others said, this episode felt like it was filler. I felt that way at the end of last mid-season, too, so maybe it's just the show in general for me. That said, I caught up on the show on Netflix before this season. I cannot imagine what you guys went through watching this in real time for the the farm episodes.

Correct. On page 38, a poster named HauntedCoinOp did his best to ruin the show by posting 6 specific spoilers.
Staff deleted them, but not until after I and others saw it. My enjoyment of the show took a big hit thanks to that a-hole.

They were comic spoilers NOT show spoilers. The writer has stated that he isn't following the comic so chill out and quit acting like the show is totally ruined for you. You complained all the time that this show sucked now its ruined for you? If anything the comic is spoiled if you choose to start it but not enough to ruin it.

I'm still not sure how I feel about the direction of the show. I do know I miss the feelings I had about the show in season 1, and the 1st half of season 2.

If this is directed at me I understand that and I posted the link to the comic thread to that guy who posted about it. I stated that for AJ that the show was not ruined for him because of what has been said about the writer not following the comic. So no big hit was taken on his part.

There's been plenty of stuff happen that I assume is in the comic, and there will be plenty of more stuff happen (I assume) that's from the comic.

I honestly don't see how hard it is to just not mention the comics. At all. Take it to the other thread if you want to talk about the comics, period.
