Hershel and Judith die because they are inconvenient to write stories for. They'll have to tread lightly on how to kill an infant without being outright horrifying for casual viewers.
Merle will die a heroic death to complete his "arc."
Tyrese's scrub companions will die.

Does it bother anyone else that even though Merle supposedly lost a hand, his bad arm is tons longer than his good arm??
I know he's got the cool stump/knife thing on the end now, but still - the stump part is longer than where his hand would have been. So obvious the actor has his fist in there holding on to the prop.
Anyway, just thought it was weird since they've actually done a great job making Herschel appear one-legged. But the missing hand seems to have them stumped. Ha!

I think Merle makes it to S4. Also dont think Tyrese will switch to team prison till well into next year. Imho

Noticed Merle's long arm but it didn't really bother me.
Just reminds me of Buster after his run in with that loose seal.

Also random thing I noticed - since when has tucking pants into boots become the go-to fashion of the zombie apocalypse? Practically every character is rocking this style in the past few episodes.

They all have lost weight so their waists are thinner, if they don't tuck in their shirts their pants will fall off.
I thought the episode was ok. They don't all have to be non-stop action and zombie smashing for me to enjoy it.

I think the issue is that NONE of them have any non-stop action or zombie smashing. Maybe 1.5 scenes an episode. Why the hell else would people watch a zombie movie
Hell, if I had a choice, I would make my stump arm/knife/metal thing longer than my other arm. Good advantage when fighting zombies.

in the last episode they talked about how they are low on ammo, and that it would take pretty much all the ammo they have left to clear out the yard of zombies........ why???? they can just dance around butt naked covered in barbecue sauce to attract zombies to the fence, and then just have merle stab them in the forehead

I find myself looking for little flaws throughout the show, because the show itself is boring me to tears..
andrea could have done them all a favor by taking out a few dozen walkers with her car on her way out. Instead she avoids every damn last one. wtf?
They are probably running low on BBQ sauce, gordo.
Know how much damage running over a human body at 30 MPH can do to a car? Remember, in a zombie apocalypse, a car with a missing window is significantly less useful.
The practical reason is the special effects budget probably couldn't accommodate. Stuntmen, vfx, stunt driver, coordination, timing... All for a 10 second throwaway scene.

i'd say also the walkers are just kind of a nuisance. you're not going to go out of your way to engage them unless they pose a threat.
