I'm interested in how they reacted to the water. I was walking through Huntsville St Park a few months ago and thought about surviving a zombie outbreak there. Among other strategic ideas, I thought about the swimming platform in the middle of the lake. If I was standing on the platform, would the walkers try to get to me. No way they'd be coordinated enough to swim, but would they just walk out into the water until they were submerged? They may get waterlogged & sink, but they wouldn't necessarily drown, right? If this were the case, wouldn't the lake eventually become completely filled up with waterlogged zombies? Or would they simply avoid the water all together?
Rick knowing the Governor in prior to the outbreak is an interesting thought. I remember Rick saying he was the town drunk and saying "So your the governor" or something like that when they met. If those two have a past, that would be extremely interesting.

WWZ hit this as well. They mostly just submerged and trudged their way through it by walking underwater. As a result, water deep enough to conceal zombies was dangerous to go in since you don't know what lurks under the surface - or just even be near in general, since zombies could come walking out of it anytime.

How is it that you can suspend the scientific part of your brain that asks how dead people can rise up, and why they would want to "eat" flesh...yet you can't just gloss over the fact that some have decayed more or less than others?
I can suspend it just fine. Just asking questions about that universe because I like it. Not trying to go "aha! Got you physics!".
Its sort of like how people ask how TIE Fighters can fly in the atmosphere.

I'm pretty sure they weren't incenuating that Rick knew the Gov previously. I think Rick was just telling him that all the Gov was to him was a town drunk that tore up his yard and tore down his fence (a reference to the attack on the jail).
Wouldnt the cell membranes of the well zombie explode after about 1 week in the water? In WWII and Vietnam we had plenty of guys lose flesh from constant exposure to water.
That's living flesh...no telling what effect (or lack of) water has on zombie flesh.
I was thinking about the attack on the prison, and came up with an interesting twist along the lines of the guerrilla comments earlier: what if Rick and his group did the ol switcheroo once the Gov and his army left Woodbury? They show up at the prison, waste some ammo in a shock & awe presentation, enter the prison carefully, then get trapped inside with lots and lots of walkers, meanwhile Rick and the others head to Woodbury, expose the Gov for the sadistic creep that he is to the remaining townspeople, then re-fortify the walls. Maybe somewhere in there, Michonne can even out the Gov's optical imbalance.

I thought about something similar to that as well. I think it's very possible that the groups somehow ends up taking over Woodbury by the time this season is over.
Alright guys I'm really late to the party. Just watched Season 1 and 2 on Netflix over the last week. How can I watch season 3 in the correct order without paying an arm and a leg (Netflix doesn't have any of season 3 yet)? Need moar walking dead. I can't read this thread because it will spoil it for me!

One possibility I noticed is based on the fact that the prison group isn't taking out the walkers in their courtyard. That leaves things open for the Gov's people to dress/slather themselves as walkers and perform all kinds of sabotage/mischief, especially at night.

Assuming that know that trick. So far we've just seen Rick get away with, but maybe Andrea mentioned it.
That's pretty ballsy ploy, especially considering they probably have a night watch going on at the prison.

in all fairness, I think we have seen how seriously they take watch...
But, looking at the last assault on the Prison, the guv and crew can just role up and pick live folks off with no problem.

Boring. Of course a boring episode was the creation of Andrea.
"Rick and I have a lot to talk about..." Nothing important. The only thing worth noting from this episode was the banter between Daryl and Hernandez. It was this mutual "ours is not to reason why, ours is but to do and die" moment. If it leads to a defection ok.
The Milton/Herschel exchange could have been better. They talk about the leg and not the walkers. Boring.
I dont know why Rick wouldnt assassinate the Gov. and spare his people massive losses. What so Andrea thinks he is honorable? This man is more dangerous than Shane, Tomas, or walkers. Rick has already killed to protect what is his, but he wont to protect his people and his kids?

I just read the plot synopsis for tonights episode and it seems like it will be a good one
I have to say i'm ove the drama with woodbury though, the **** has just drug on and on, and I didn't care about the farm season so i don't know why this is bothering me so much but it just seems like the writers are tring to make **** up to extend the plot to the end of the season

Thought it was pretty good. Not expecting much next week, gonna be a build up to the final episode.
Andrea looks pretty damn hot on Talking Dead right now.
