Sometimes it feels good to do bad things.

I still root for Walt. I want to see him take over Gus operation, or at the very least use the Mexicans take down Guatemalan Gus and keep the meth flowing.

I like Hank, but I think he kills his wife or she gets bedridden and he leaves her in her moment of need because she's a crazy b-tch. They will villify Hank by the end of this season imho.

Jesse to me is the most likeable. Hank used to be funny, then turned into a total dick, and is slowly becoming good again. Walt becomes annoying to watch in sequences like wrecking the car.

I think the cartel just wants it territory and money.

I am not saying Hank doesn't have some right to be a dick, but that didn't make it any less annoying to watch.

I really don't care what happens to Walt or Gus at this point. I'm just enjoying the ride.

I guess if I had to be rooting for anyone, I'm pulling for Hank.

+1. He's been lights out this season. And he doesn't even have to speak....the facial expressions he has are amazing.

I thought the car scene was more of a "They're going to kill me soon, might as well have some fun." type deal.

I think it's Hank's partner. There was no other reason to so obviously re-introduce his character, IMO.

Speaking of cinematic stuff, how much does Breaking Bad love the stationary "first person" shot from an inanimate object? The shovel shot from last week comes to mind, as does a couple of the pistol shots this week. It's a very cool effect that you don't see a lot on television.

I thought this too when they did the camera on the air vent thing this week. They do LOVE it.

this show is infinitely better when hank is on the case. glad to see he's back at it.

If there was a cinematography emmy, it would win it no question.

the cinematography is one of the major reasons it is my favorite show ever. it's so intriguing to watch, all the time, especially in the quiet, intense moments

I thought it the conversation between Hank and Jr was awesome.

After watching that scene, I think there might be one or two people on Gus's payroll in the DEA.

That wasn't my takeaway from that scene at all. The dude is a huge donor to the DEA and even fed them at the hospital when Hank was shot. Then Hank comes in with some convoluted thing about him being a kingpin? The two agents reactions struck me simply as the natural reaction to such an odd accusation. When Hank showed them the fingerprint proof they both came around.

Gus may well have someone on payroll at the DEA, but it didn't strike me as either of them from that scene.

Exactly. There is no way the Gus is in bed with those two. Having a huge shocker come out of left field like that...this is not really that type of show IMO. Leave that type of stuff for Damages.

the finger print alone can be blown off, Gus just happen to serve Gayle. But add that to the model number and the company being the parent company to the chicken fast food chain, no account of payment. hmmmmmm, interesting. And if they start looking at old security tapes, uh-oh.

Depends on where the finger print was, I couldn't tell from the pic. And it still begs the question why was the oat bran hippie eating fried chicken. From Jr's comment that Hank "must really like fried chicken," it doesn't seem that Pollos Hermanos is just around the corner.

I think Hank was saying that they found Gus' fingerprints in Gayle's apartment (not just on that napkin). Remember, Gus went to Gayle's apartment to talk to him about taking over in last years' season finale.

Yeah, the pictures were from all over Gayle's apt not just the napkin.

He played that so cool. Holding back the finger prints... dropping the bomb on them.

Finally watched the episode last night....best one yet, I was disappointed with this season so far.

Few Thoughts:

1. Walt is starting to annoy me.
2. Mike is trying his hardest to swing Jesse's loyalty away from Walt to Gus...and I think it is working.
3. Skylar comming to the realization at just how much money Walt makes...and then her reaction when he asked if she wanted out was classic.
4. Hank is a badass and the way he presented it to them was nails. he has Gus pinned, now how will it lead to Walt. OR Will Hank break bad at some point?

Getting interesting finally.

Watching 6 feet Under and the actress that plays Skyler is on it in Season 4. She is about half the woman she is now.

Started watching Season 1 about 2 weeks ago, and finally caught all the way up. What a ride that was. After so much in such a little time, I am now having withdrawals.

At this point, my personal top 5 episodes go like this:

1) Season 2, Episode 2: out in the desert with Tuco
2) Season 1, Episode 2: the bathtub acid error
3) Season 3, Episode 7: Hank's shootout in parking lot
4) Season 4, Episode 6: Walt saying he is the one that knocks
5) Season 1, Episode 1: had me engrossed from opening scene

One thing I realized while watching the DVDs so fast and looking at the names of the episodes... in Season 2, here are the episode names of the episodes that have the flight crash teaser cold openings:

Episode 1: Seven Thirty-Seven (walt says that's how much $$ he needs, $737,000
Episode 4: Down
Episode 10: Over
Episode 13: ABQ

Put those together... 737 Down Over ABQ. Neat way to hint towards the season finale for season 2.

No love for half measures? Makes my top 5 just for the last scene alone.
