Bill Burr has a great stand up act -- there's a funny youtube video of one of his acts in Philadelphia where he goes after a heckling audience. I'd like to see more of him on BB.

But the environmental agency scam was a bit far-fetched (unless that owner is a complete idiot).

I agree. Any person smart enough to keep a business running for that long would at least do his due diligence. At the very least would get legal council which would figure out it was a scam pretty quickly.

My guess is Mike is gonna make Jesse think he's really gonna kill him so he snaps out of his "not giving a **** about life" funk.

That was a fanastic episode, imo. Can't wait for next week.

Very solid episode. Dammit, I wish I had these all recorded so I could watch them back to back like I did the first few seasons. Hate having to wait a whole week for my fix.

I don't think Jesse's gone. I think they are taking him to rehab. Of course not regular rehab, but some kind of forced ghetto rehab.

Either that or it will take A LOT to make him care about dying. Right now he doesn't care if he lives or dies so threatening to kill him won't do jack. They'll have to appeal to some kind of emotions (his dead girlfriend, the mexican chick/kid from NA, or his brother/parents).

*Mike is one bad MF, but how did he know about the junkie that stole the cash, the assistant just watching the house?

*the look on Walt's face as the DVD was playing and then his hastely going through the notes looking for any references to himself was crazy good

*it was good to have hank up and about, being like his old self, even if it was an act

Still a few things that don't make sense:

1) How have the cops not come to Jesse's yet?
2) How was Mike not killed at the beginning? Bullet-proof everything? Just a nick of the ear?
3) Anyone else think Skyler can DIAF?
4) Walt Jr. sure is absent this season, very little of him so far.
5) If Gus has been watching Jesse this whole time, why not just kill him? Seems like it would be the easiest solution.
6) For insurance, why hasn't Walt written down EVERYTHING about what's going on, stashed a couple copies with Sal and another lawyer or two? Let Gus know and he's got insurance to live.

So on another message board, a few people seem to think Hank knows about Walt, or at least suspects it. They think he wasn't buying the gambling bit, and was showing Walt the lab notes to test out his reaction.

IMO, the thought hasn't even crossed his mind. I think it'll be at least a few episodes until the light bulb goes off.

He was burrowed down in those boxes. Perhaps it was some type of safe shelter for him? Knowing Gus and his preparedness, I wouldn't be surprised.

Im fairly certain Hank doesnt know about walt and jesse isnt going to die, unless he just got a lead role in a new series that is being kept under wraps.

I know it was supposed to be funny but for some reason that video of gail was disturbing to me, on the level of a marilyn manson or nine inch nails music video.

Perhaps in Hank's down time he has been watching reruns of Columbo, hence allowing a suspect to get involved in the investigation and waiting to hang himself. He definitely threw out the W W initial thing to watch Walt's reaction. Also, enjoyed the Ron Paul sticker in the lab notes, nice touch by the producers of the show.

The great thing about this show is the high plausibility factor. But the fake EPA guy with Skylar in the ear-piece was darn near a shark-jumping scene.

Solid episode otherwise.

You guys must not know many immigrant business owners. They fall for scams all the time.

I know one personally that fell for the Nigerian email scam for $50k. You know the one where they need cash to release their millions.

I don't really understand why Walt has so much loyalty to Jesse. Is it only because of the Jane guilt? Jesse is a junkie and Walt could have let him get taken out last season and had a long quiet career working for Gus with Gayle as his assistant

I'm glad to see the house party plot line end. Like neighbors in that area aren't going to call cops when 20 cars are parked outside at all hours. How did Jesse's stereo never get lifted?

Joe, I think he feels loyal to him because he is a former student and they got in this together and that he needs at least one ally on his side even if he is a junkie.

But the plan for Walt and Gale was never for Walt to be the main guy and Gale to be his assistant forever. The plan was for Gale to learn from Walt, then Gus was going to have Walt killed then Gale was going to take over.

I thought walt was on a 3month deal after Gus convinced him to comeback. Didn't seem like took a turn until Walt killed 2 of gus's men when they were about to take out Pinkman

I understand the loyalty part. I'm just sick of the stupidity and greed of Jesse's character.
