Knew ted tripping early on on that rug was going to signify something.

That last sequence is a master class in acting, cinematography and writing. Just no words.

Another thing I can't figure out is why Ted is being such a stubborn idiot about paying the IRS? And running away? Seriously? What would that solve? The check was already written.

Agreed. Everything from Saul's office onwards was masterful. The best show on television on top of its game.

He still could have drained his account before it got to the IRS...

But yeah, Ted is being a little *****.

Also, WTF happened to Ted? If he died, that's pretty hilarious (but also a crappy way to have him go out).
The showed his finger moving at the end of the scene.

Don't start this again. He is DEAD.

So what's the explanation for the extreme zoom in of nothing but the dead man's hand that shows it moving? That was done blatantly, unlike last week's fiasco...

It was twitching, they did that to show he is dead. Like if you cut off someones head their body will still twitch. It was done on purpose to show he is dead lol.

We wont know if he's dead or not until next week. Either way is possible.

Any predictions about what is next? I think the ending sequence is of Walt realizing what has to be done. He's not going to go down timidly. He is going to fight.

Cranston sealed his fourth Emmy with that episode. holy. *****

his laughing at the end literally gave me the heeby-jeebies type creeps, with the goosebumps all over. amazing. my favorite show ever, no doubt in my mind.

best part is there are two episodes left this season, 18 overall!

I mean, it's not like they were going to disappear, too much more for that.

Cannot wait to see the showdown between walt and gus. Remember, gus is somebody important down in chile. Somebody with no records (until the age of 8 IIRC). Even Don Eladio once spared his life because he knew who he was. 2 episodes to find out.

He is obviously a very smart man, but he is going up against someone who is even smarter. Threatening Heisenberg, not a good idea.

of course i could be wrong, but i dont think you comprehended the conversation between saul and his "A team".

The most amazing thing to me is I have been on the fence all season until last weeks episode. After the premier, it seemed to start over and never really gained too much steam. I thought they maybe lost their edge, or just couldnt have possibly met expectations after the first 3 incredible seasons. Then the climax (at the pool party) happened and I realized this show hadnt gone anywhere but up. It is going to be one hell of a ride until the finish.

Just when I thought they couldn't out-do last episode's pool shootout.

I also especially love Gus going back to rub it in Don Salamanca's face. That guy sure packs a lot of emotion into that sneer and his eyes, and occasionally his wheelchair bell.

Couldn't tell what they were going for with Ted-- whether he was dead or not-- but if he was, that's how they get out of this situation of the money being gone, except for the check in the mail. But there always seems to be a way out. I was talking to a friend earlier about how I've just never seen a show where things seem so hopeless for a character but somehow they think a way out of it.

I guess all I can say is I can't wait to have my mind blown all over again next week.

that. was. AWESOME! i cant say anything that hasnt already been said other than I got chills when Gus is just running down the names of who he just took out, then trotted Jesse out with "this is the man that killed your grandson. The name Salamanca(sp?) dies with you".

****ing epic.

America's destiny is not of our own choosing. We did not seek nor did we provoke an assault on our freedom and our way of life. We did not expect nor did we invite a confrontation with evil. Yet the true measure of a people's strength is how they rise to master that moment when it does arrive.

This. Not sure what has caused everyone to over analyze obvious things on this show.

I'm sure it was just representing how Walt was feeling at the time, like the world was closing in around him and he had no means of escape.

When Skyler walked up to Walt digging around in the crawlspace, she asked him, "What did that call mean?" It seemed like Walt would have went hauling ass from Saul's office to the house. Did Walt call her on the way to tell her to pack up, or did Gus/one of his dudes call her to scare them?

And I haven't been glued to a tv like that since I watched Tony eating onion rings.

That's the impression I got, at least something like "get home ASAP".

Hank will find out about Walt soon. I don't see how it won't come out with *****starting to hit the fan. I just can't help but wonder where it can go when/if Walt takes out Gus. The writers are just brilliant. They seem to write themselves into a corner so often, it's just crazy good writing.

If Walt has any sense at all, he goes, right now, and tells all for a deal.

He has the leverage.

Yes, Walt called Skylar.

Yes, Ted is dead. What do you think "it was an act of God" means?

My question is where did all the money go? They had to have had more stashed away than the $600k Skylar gave to Ted. Walt already paid off his debts before this season, right? Then a $100k or so to Hank for rehab... The Charger cost him $80k or so... They took out a loan on the car wash, right?

Walt ought to hope Gus offs that unfaithful cow Skylar. What kind of an idiot gives away $600k dirty cash and thinks the IRS would be curious where the money came from?

Also, what is killing Gus going to do for Walt? With Gus dead Walt is back to square one with no distribution.

What a crazy turn if Walt kills Gus and the show focuses of the day to day operation of a car wash.

I thought they paid cash with "gambling winnings". If so guessing they also paid a huge chunk of taxes on these winnings.

I can't help but wonder the same thing, but I doubt Walt has even thought that far ahead. Right now, his priority is keeping his family and himself alive.

You do have to wonder what's gonna happen next season if Gus is out of the picture. They'll have the lab, but unless they can take over the massive pollos/distribution system Gus has going on, they're not gonna be making much cash.
