Trying my best not to read this thread as I have not watched this week's episode nor will I be able to tonight.

Badass episode. That scene where he taunted the sniper was badass. Gus scares the sh** out of me. Him and the dude who plays Jesse need to be up for supporting actor awards.

The crap she pulled with the IRS would have never worked. She's just a stupid bookkeeper. Why would she need to sign financials in the first place? It doesn't count. It's the CPA who would get nailed.
On Sepinwall's blog a guy posted he watched with his dad who has the job that CIA guy did and he sees it all the time and it works. They still have to pay the taxes and penalties, it just avoids the jail time.

The IRS isn't chilling at the bit to throw people in jail unless it was actual fraud. They do give you a shot to pay the money back if you can.

Maybe I just have my head up my ass, but didn't Hank call Walt at his condo? If so, wouldn't it smell funny that they are still separated, yet bought a car wash.

Him being there seemed strange to me. I had gotten the impression he was actually moving back home, then out of nowhere he's back at the condo.

But, pretty sure he was just called on his cell so maybe Hank thinks he does live at home.

No, it was the landline phone. It was a big clunky cordless one that after talking to Hank he put down and picked up his cell to call Mike.

wow, this show has gotten real intense, in the past seasons it has been about making the money, this year it is about staying alive.

Is it just me but the more and more Hank discovers the more I think he will be next to 'break bad' and be added onto the payroll.

Maybe it's more of that's what I want to happen. Love his character and seems like this season hit it's stride when he returned.

its not often that a tv show or movie really makes me feel something in my gut. The writers and actors on this show have done a brilliant job in 3.5 seasons to craft these characters. When Jessie got on an exhausted Walt at the end of that fight and hit him 4 more times, I felt it. I felt Jessie's anger and rage at Walt come through that screen and I felt it in the pit of my stomach. Aaron Paul has been absolutely nails this season.

A split second prior to that final shootout, it sure did appear that Mike was about to kill Jessie.

They put Gus in the car. Mike asks Gus, "Are you still with us?" Then he says "Go" to Jessie. Watch his actions immediately before he gets shot by that last dude. It looked to me like he was just about to take aim at Jessie right before that last guy hits him in the gut.

I'll take a look during the encore, but I really doubt that that's what was intended. Seems to me both Mike and Gus had accepted Jesse back as a permanent member. They looked awfully approving when he told off the cartel's chemist.

After watching tonight's episode, it seems to me that Jesse has solidified his place with Gus. Jesse could, and it's possible that he did, take all the credit with the Ricin plan. If so, this would infuriate Walt. Heck, Jesse might not want to kill Gus anymore.

After the fight with Walt, it's obvious his loyalties are changing. If Gus and Mike don't survive, is it possible we could see Walt vs. Jesse?

One thing is for sure: Jesse has balls. I love this show so much because there is absolutely no way to know which direction this will go in the final three episodes.

Gah, that was awesome.

Also, did anyone else notice that Don Eladio is played by Steven Bauer? He also played Manny in Scarface. Pretty awesome throwback since Gilligan has reference Scarface so many times in the past.

Edit: I didn't catch Mike's look to take out Jesse. I'll have to watch it again tomorrow.

I just watched it again after your post, and I agree. It definitely looks like Jesse was about to take a bullet in the back of the head from Mike's gun had Mike not been shot right as he was about to pull the trigger.
