Hank poisoned Brock so the city would think there was a serial poisoner and would allocate money to his department which he could then use to fund his investigation of Gus.

New theories on who poisoned Brock:

Nobody ever guess what's going to happen correctly, which means Gus didn't do it, Walt didn't do it, and Brock didn't accidentally do it.

THEORY #1:
Tyrus did it.

Why? Because he's been skimming the meth. He altered the weight on one of Walt's batches a week or 2 ago. By poisoning Brock, he hopes to get Jesse upset enough to overlook minor details regarding the weight and too preoccupied to pay attention. Plus, he really really hates Jesse.

It's probably just about the money for him. We already know Mike makes much less money than Walt, and I'd assume Tyrus makes less than Walt. Tyrus probably just wants a bigger piece of the action.

If you pay attention when Jesse tells Gus about the poisoning, it almost looks like Gus shoots Tyrus a quick glance as if he suspects him for some reason.

Theory 2:
Hector did it...or had it done.

It's less plausible, but he could have ordered the hit on Brock. Jesse killed Tuco and then all that was left of Hector's family, and Gus made sure to let Hector know it. Perhaps Hector still has some connections and wanted to return the favor knowing Brock was like family to Jesse. There's no doubt that Hector and his hatred for Gus and Jesse will factor into the remaining episodes, so this isn't as far fetched as you may think.

I heard the Hector theory somewhere else and it actually sounds plausible. After Gus introduces Jesse as "the man who killed your nephew" or whatever, I can see him wanting to kill someone close to Jesse.

The question is who does he have left that will carry out his orders? And how did he know about the cigarette?

Every possibility just raises more questions.

Forgive me if this has been addressed somewhere on here already, but I am trying to avoid spoilers by going through the whole thread.

I am on pace to finish off Season 3 on Netflix (in a little over 2 weeks mind you!) tonight, and was wondering if anyone knew of a good way to catch up on Season 4 so I can start watching real-time each week once I'm caught up.

The Hector & Tyrus theories are possible but I think it's going to be directly Jesse's fault the kid dies.

I have listened to the podcast on the AMC website for the past few episodes (why didn't I find this sooner?). There is an incredible attention to detail in this show. It would surprise me is they glossed over Gus just "having a spidey sense" or no authorities being called for a ricin attack. They have alluded a couple times who is Gus really. I don't think Gus dies on Sunday. I think we are going to find out who he is first. Perhaps it is Hank who finds out and shares with Walt? I think we need to find out who is Gus first. Second, the only person who has connected ricin and Brock has been Jessie because he can't find the cig. That set in motion the Jessie/Gus and Jessie/Walt confrontations. We don't KNOW the kid is poisoned by ricin. So until, ...

Oh hell, I don't know what is going to happen. Sunday can't get here fast enough.

I had a dream last night that the finale ended with Walt and Jesse showing up at Gus' hospital in Mexico to kill Mike. Walt aims the gun at him, Mike kicks it out of his hand, Jesse picks it up, and it ends with the same shot from season 3.

Probably not gonna happen, but badass dream.

Did anyone just watch Bryan Cranston on letterman? He just got me SO PUMPED for the finale.

He said the last scene had no dialogue and was a wide shot of a familiar setting, and it zooms in very close on a particular object, and seeing said object will cause the viewer to absolutely freak out.

I can't figure out what it could be, and I'm not gonna try. All I know is I can't freaking wait.

No new predictions/theories, just wanted to say I can't remember the last time I was anticipating a season finale for a show more than tonight's.
