It's not Olsen Field. If it were Olsen Field, that would be the name on the front.
That's not the name of the front. Thus, it isn't Olsen Field. It's Blue Bell Park. Whenever a game gets broadcast on television, the crew is going to call it Blue Bell Park. Dave South is going to call it Blue Bell Park. New student are going to call it Blue Bell Park or The Ice Cream Bowl or something equally idiotic.

Here you go guys! There was no construction going on so I got to take several pictures. They have dug out all the dirt under the stadium and built up the right field berm. They have laid fresh red dirt in the middle/main entrance area. Maybe they will start to lay the foundation soon.

The dirt in front is the select fill for under the slab. Piles will be drilled soon for the foundation.

Currently drilling and pouring the piers now. Should be able to see the drill rig on the construction cam.
Thanks to Capt Dan for giving Scott Clendenin and I a tour of the Olsen Field construction. Good news is that we will have red brick! A constuction mock up of the outside wall is being built behind the trailers. If you are driving down wellborn be on the lookout. They are drilling the piles and once that is done they will work on the foundation and concrete pillars.

Able the bottom rows will be put back. The only loss of seats are the top two rows of certain sections where handicap sections will be put and where the suites are being put in.
The visiting bullpen is being put out in right field. It will have a 4 foot padded wall. I didn't notice if the fence is being pulled in or not. I don't think so because I asked if there will still be a sidewalk out there and he said yes that there is plenty of room. They are pulling in the fences in foul territory per coaches request.
