Looking sharp. I can't remember, did Olsen have green chairbacks before renovation started? I was there in April.
No they were maroon.
Is the "Vomitory" where you go to Vomit?

I've dealt with Cougar High fans at pre-renovation Olsen. I can deal with this!
I was wrong about there not being a fence above the dugout, so there would be a place for someone sitting there to hang Ks.

doubtful, net will have to be high enough to protect second deck behind the plate.
maybe they could cover all the seats and have the cutoff at the right angle for the camera to see the plate without the net.
net is 30' above field wall. should be easier to see thru, because it is newer and thinner material.
More camera platforms should allow more shots that are not behind net.

Well I looked up the definition of the word " Vomitory" and this is what I found:

You need to find a better dictionary. That word was discussed earlier in this thread. It is an entry way.
I looked it up on my phone. Merriam-Webster's dictionary says, "an entrance piercing the banks of seats of a theater, amphitheater, or stadium"

is there any old artificial turf being removed that would be available for donation? A private school here in the hill country is looking for some turf for the batting cage tunnels and dugouts. Any help would be appreciated.

I remember Sister Barbara Ann in 9th grade religion class teaching us that the Romans had a room called a vomitorium used just for that purpose. I don't know if it was used just to feel better or to be able to eat more as a celebration of gluttony. Last I heard, she was in Galveston. Maybe she could tell me? There can't be that many nuns on the island.
It sort of makes sense... all the people leaving the belly of the stadium to go out...

I know that Olsen is 100% grass surface, but I'm asking if there is some old artificial surfaces being used for batting cages, walking surfaces, etc that may be disposed of.

OK, I'm a little bit concerned. I think this is a picture of section 103:
If I'm counting right, there are 13 seats on each row. I've got seats 12-14. Am I looking at the wrong section? Are seat numbers not going to match up with how many seats there are between the aisles?
