you're also discounting dissonance... and unless you find a way to get everyone heckling on a harmonic chord, destructive interference wins every time...

Maybe after the 3rd deck was added. WHen there wre only two decks and the Ags started winning, students sat there. Sometimes in the 80's vistors used to get some pretty good seats about where the band sits. I bought one form Arkansas fans to watch the Ags beat Arkansas the first year we went to the Cotton Bowl. It was a very good seat.

Pictures taken 7-21-11

They removed more concrete where the boxes will be. they are also making a notiable gain on adding dirt to the right field berm. The home field dugout looks dugout.

Thanks. Glad that we aren't going to have boxes all the way around the top, but particularly glad that the roof stays in place, as is. The double deck and roof really make Olsen rather unique in college baseball (except for the design in Hawaii that was based on Olsen).

The field still looks beautiful. It can't be easy to keep it looking this nice when it's over 100F every day and we're in the midst of this terrible drought.

I must have drank more in college than I realized. I don't remember the horseshoe ever having more than one deck until the zone was built. I also spent several games there as a fish in '93. It sucks pulling tickets on the last day.


edit...aaahhh, you mean the third deck on the sidelines....more students sat in the horseshoe before THAT deck.

It looks like the demolition is done. The were just digging a lot of dirt up and bringing it to the right field berm. They were also pouring concrete into the mold for the walkway to the berm.

That stinks. It will reset on the 7th. I have been using two account to post so I have the other one. I just checked and it has only used 51% of the bandwidth. That account will reset on the 13th.

Look into getting a Flickr account. It's through Yahoo so if you have an account with them already you should be good to go. Free accounts have a limit of 200 pictures while paid accounts (I have one but I don't remember how much it is/year) are unlimited.

Keep in mind Flickr doesn't have the easy little urls so it takes longer, but it's quality.

Flikr Pro accounts are $25/year. Unlimited storage and number of albums that your photos can be divided into. I've got one and I love it.

Can we please bring back those awesome block T hats and script Aggies uniforms? Those were freaking awesome. And while we are at it let's throw in some ol' sarge merch as well. I don't know why we don't play off this retro stuff more, i know most of the current students think it's legit.

Adidas... they suck.

Would love to see occasional retro jerseys. Maybe make them the midweek kit. The camo tops (though I'm not typically in favor of camo unis) were great.

However I would be pleased if they would just get rid of those nightmarish white jerseys with the maroon armpit stains, shoulder... stripes? ... not sure how to describe those, and giant block aTm (with beveled T) on the chest.

TexAgs mobile must create and store thumbnails of pictures on the server, because you can see them in the thread, but can't view the originals.

And now there's an edit feature for mobile also. I haven't been on much lately and apparently missed that addition.

they've pretty much eliminated "olsen" from the building. hell, most of the fans here call it "blue bell park" when "olsen" is easier to type/write, etc.

"olsen" is a thing of the past by design.

Drove by Olsen and there were a lot of dump trucks. The right field berm is built up over the high of the railroad tracks. I would've stopped but there was a lot going on by the fences. I still can't believe how much dirt was removed from under the stadium.
