The stairs to the upper deck were removed and will be replaced when the waterproofing is complete. Other than right in front of the suites and press boxes, no seats were harmed during the refurbishment. You will be recieving new benches, however.

The canopy will recieve a waterproof coating over the suites, and perhaps the rest will also, depending on available money.

**Correction**
There WILL be two small camera platforms installed at the two second to end sections (you can see the framing in the pics). These will allow a camera to shoot down each baseline to and from second base.

Cool. And I'd like to make a request to my fellows... please don't put duct tape on the new stairs. The sticky duct tape residue all over the stairs looked really tacky and bad. Plus... it doesn't work.

Why is there always a tree on top of structures in construction/renovation on campus? I've seen it at least three or four times and have always wondered why.

I've always wondered that too, so I looked it up. It's a tradition called "topping out" that traces back to Scandinavian mythology.

they were working on putting on the black stuff over the rest of the lime green on the 3rd base side.

They started to put the brick along the base of the building on the 3rd base side. You should be able to see it in the picture of the baseball operations building.

They are also bricking the backstop.
