What a huge win. League double over City for the first time since SAF and keep pace with Chelsea. Most of the teams fighting for 4th won today so massive 3 points.
EL match against LASK Thursday. I would not be shocked to see it played behind closed doors.
ETA. Austria just closed its border with Italy and banned indoor events with more than 100 people. I will upgrade my statement and now say I will be shocked if it's not behind closed doors.
CL and EL postponed. EPL suspended until at least April 3rd though there are reports that it will likely be extended beyond that. No plan as to how the season might play out (canceling out right, playing in the summer, taking the current standings as the final standings, etc.)
I feel like he is always trying to do something that will look good on a poster instead of trying to make the save in the safest and most efficient manner...even that header save seemed like overkill....
I think our best bet for CL football next season is to hope the CAS doesn't overturn City's FFP ban. 5 points back with 8 to play isn't insurmountable. But in a pandemic world where home field advantage is non-existent and squad strength is watered down, it's extremely hard to look at a schedule and predict with confidence wins and losses let alone where United is going to make up those 5 points.
