The irony of last season is that Jose wanted a CB and CM. He didn't get either and got sacked mid season. But OGS got both Maguire and Bruno as well as a RB in Wan Bussaka, all of which have been quality signings.

Pickford wasn't amazing by any stretch but that was not an easy save. Bruno shooting not long after United won possession probably didn't help Pickford's positioning either.
That was straight simulation on Calvert-Lewin trying to draw a second yellow on Shaw.

I can make a case other way. What got him in trouble was pulling his legs back. If he just lays there and doesn't move and the ball hops over him into the net its a goal. Pulling this legs back is what got him in trouble. In the end, if you are a player, dont lay on the ground with your legs outstretched in front of the goal.

Only Man Utd can talk crap despite the highest spending amount and most underachieving performances. European football isnt hard to come by when refs rob teams with terrible VAR decisions.

Actually, in every soccer game I've ever watched - the attempt to get out of the play and not play the ball has saved an offsides call. Just be honest. You were handed a point. Easy as that. De Gea never saves that in his life, if the ball hits his legs, it is 100% offsides.
