Alexis might have been prime age but I think the WC run plus the insane work rate plus high volume minutes game just broke him down. I think at Baca he was able to get more games off but the dude played like a kamikaze.

Just finished watching. I know that teams tactically are just sitting back behind the ball because we can't break anyone down, but this was frustrating. It felt like we had the ball 35 yards or less from their goal for 75% of the time just doing nothing.

I'll be in Manchester for a couple of nights for business later this month, we went ahead and grabbed tickets to the Club Brugge match on the 27th.

I don't really follow soccer and haven't attended a match since a world cup pool match in Dallas as a kid many years ago. Anything I should be aware of for an environment like this?

Its nice to be up 2-0, but I have to say, Maguire should have been sent straight off in the 1H for that kick to the groin. Thats Violent Conduct in every league in the word and frankly it should have been here. What VAR thinks of that who knows.
