Get the **** in there. Not a big fan of Ole parking the bus at about the 70th minute in successive games but what a performance. Two great wins.
Just finished watching. Wow. James played a hell of a game and frankly OGS got the better of Pep tactically.
Loss to Bournemouth, draws to Sheffield United and AV and wins over Spurs and City. That is one strange run.
Today was truly shocking. Agree that Ole bunkered down too quickly. But, what a win.

This is craziness. If you would've told me a week ago that the pundits and papers would be writing today about how United have exposed City, how City's in need of a rebuild, and United maybe has shown they are on the right track, I would've laughed in your face.
Watching AV now. Jack Grealish has to be the must punchable player in the PL. he's the kind of player everyone hates unless he's on your team and then you love him. He has somehow convinced referees to call fouls for things that just are not in any way shape or form fouls. He goes down with no contact and gets whistles and gets cards for minimal things. I keep expecting someone to go in on him and get their moneys worth.
I wonder if Pep is starting to get restless. City has big holes right now in their whole defensive back 5 with the exception of Kyle Walker. They made no real effort to replace Kompany and with injuries are forced to move Fernandinho from CDM to CB. OGS exploited them mercilessly on the counter for 60 minutes before parking the bus.
Pep is a weird bird. Great coach but at every stop eventually his petulant streak surfaces and never retreats. Every difficulty he faces during that period becomes insurmountable and someone else's fault (whether that's true or not).
You know what's worse than AY at LB? AY at RB. Woof.

Even putting aside the troubles United has in games like these, it was always going to be a tough game. A team with talent playing for a club legend who by merely being different than their previous manager inspires them to levels they haven't reached in months. The epitome of the new manager bounce.
That's for dann sure, we caught them at a bad time, but we still need to figure out a way to unlock teams who sit back in a low block and cede possession to us

Rashford and Martial both start which is a little surprising. We're struggling to break down Colchester which is not.
United have a tough time breaking down a team in the best of times let alone when they start Matic and Pereira in midfield.
Well it took 14 tries, but Rashford finally stuck one in
Own goal gets in on the act and then Mata delivers a lovely pass that Rashford knocks across the face of goal for Martial to tap in. Took a while and we still aren't convincing against a 10 man defense but that should do it.
Much like the previous game, United use a 10 minute spell to blow open a rather "meh" game. 3-0. Either Leicester, City or Villa in the semis.
