Got the game yesterday. Was finally able to play tonight. Made it through the opening mission and went straight to multiplayer and couldn't get into a game. Did I do something wrong? Do you have to play more of the campaign before you can play online? I'm new to Battlefield so please excuse the noob questions.

FYI, anyone having ridiculously long load times and random errors (I would often load into games with various visual elements missing, like my gun...), try uninstalling and reinstalling. I played 4-5 matches last night after a fresh install without issue and I was loading into the game before my team had already captured half of the flags.

Yes, I often do not have a gun, I get random messages for me to delete saved games... if I change class or weapons I will always deploy without a weapon first few times I spawn

Try the full wipe and reinstall. I had hell with the game over the holiday and this finally resolved all of the issues I was having last night.

I have four kills with it so far. You have to flare gun someone then switch to it and hope it does enough damage to them to kill them. Each round does 1 damage. Troll hard.
