My first round after unlocking the Hellriegel SMG. It was everything I hoped it would be.
A few weeks ago I started with the 1st weapon of each class and used until I received 1st Service Star.
Making through shotguns and hitting the base SMG experimental was pure gamer elation. Colors were brighter, birds sing clearer and oh MaroonStain death reign.
Now if I can just get past the stupid palm rest Scout rifle...ugh....

Playing TDM trying to get all the codices on sidearms. Few things compared to the fun of getting BOOM! Headshot! with the Gasser or Bulldog revolvers. (Too bad they take forever and a day to reload.)
And the M1911 in York codex is going to take me years... have to get to level 10 in planes (I suck at piloting) then get 10 kills with the stupid gun.

vehicle classes take so long to rank up
You can "cheat" by bailing out of your plane/tank and running around on the ground to cap objectives, but you did just screw your team out of a plane/tank.

Change the controls to normal (inverted is default) and enjoy! I've been rolling with my Red Baron skin the past few days.

Pilot class isn't too bad, it only takes 20k or so to rank up. Tanker class takes foreeeever, around 60k per rank. But you can cap objectives while in the tank.
Side note, has anyone chosen cavalry, but then spawned on the horse as a pilot??

So, I set up camp in an alleyway protecting myself with tripwire bombs. Little did I know it was a spawn point for the enemy.
