Have we heard anything about DLC or season pass stuff? It'd be so nice to just buy a game and get expansions/additions along the way for free, but I know that's not realistic at this point.

Question for y'all. Do y'all use a gaming headset? I have to play stuff like this after my kids are in bed and I can't turn the volume up loud. I think I miss audio clues when people are near me or behind me. Would it help at all to be able to turn the volume up?

The XB1 stereo headset is like $40, plugs into your controller, and allows you to mute the TV. The audio comes through the controller.

Good thing about the xboner is that even if you use a wired set, it just plugs into the controller with the adapter. So the wire just runs from your head to your hands.

I thought they all came with some sort of adapter to plug into the controller. I don't want to be wired directly to the console.

I know the Astro A40s come with a mixamp that plugs into the controller which the headset plugs into. I have a set of A40s from the previous generation with a mixamp that connects to the console. Until MS released the headset adapter, I was hard wired from my headset and the controller to the mixamp and then the console. It was a PITA at times when my labdog decided it was time to play in the jungle gym of cords but still worth it to not have to deal with batteries in a headset. I still use the original mixamp when I'm watching Netflix either late or early and don't want to waste the controller's batteries.

I have the A50s. The headset plugs in to the controller from the bottom port, and recharges with a mini usb.

Yup! It's a good headset. It's better than their elite offering (which I tried and returned). 100% wireless and I like it.
