Teams of 12, small maps. Location of a messenger pigeon cage is revealed and both teams rush to grab it. Once you have the cage, you have to hold it until your timer runs out (presumably letting you write a message to send). You can move with the cage but the timer moves more slowly. Once you release the pigeon, he flies away and an artillery barrage falls on nearby enemy positions. First team to release three pigeons successfully wins the round.

Love the emblem. I'm totally borrowing that. I went emblem free for bf4 and always felt a little less than. Maybe this will help me suck less too.

Also, I wasn't apart of any of the bf4 groups on here and don't play with squads that often so what's the protocol? Should I just blanket the front page's master list with friend requests?

Well some things never change... when we have at least one full squad of Aggies our team is hard to beat!

Friendly tip for those that don't know... keep in mind some guns have alt. rates of fire (change this by pushing down on the D-pad). This is shown in the config screen... the "3 bullet" symbol and "single bullet" symbol are highlighted showing it has more than one mode of fire.

The default medic gun, for example, has a full auto option even though single shot semi-auto is the default. The full auto is a fairly low rate of fire, but for me that is a good thing because it's very stable. The cool thing is the fire rate is slow enough to easily single fire the gun w/out having to switch to semi-auto mode... just keep it in full auto mode and you have quick access to both types of firing.

I don't really understand how the battlepacks work.

I get guns unlocked in a battlepack but they don't show up in my loadouts. I'm sure I am overlooking something.

Pre ordered the basic version on Amazon about a month ago for the 20% off deal. Shows my item still has not shipped. Contacted Amazon this morning and they say "We do not have enough inventory of this item to ship it, even though you pre ordered this item. We expect you to receive this item in the coming weeks. If you only fire a single shot while in the full auto setting, do you still deal with the increased damage drop-off at range?

You aren't unlocking guns, you are unlocking skins. Go to your loadouts, find the gun you "unlocked", purchase it with warbonds (or equip it if already purchased), then edit the gun and you will be able to select the skin you won from the battlepack.

Battlepacks are skins only, all guns are unlockable via warbonds.

Most of the stuff you are getting are just skins for guns. If you own the gun, and you go in to the customizations, you will see the visual tab. That's where most of the stuff is that is coming through from the battlepacks. If you have duplicates of items, you can sell back the duplicates for 30 scraps, which you can collect back to buy more battlepacks in the battlepacks menu. Apparently the battlepack items will rotate weekly offering up different items.

To be honest, I had to look up any Cowboy with the #4 since they've mostly been punters. And I'll blame Irving on spellcheck.

To take this thread back in to relevancy, I should have my copy tomorrow as previously assured by my local Indian Amazon rep, but it's listed as shipping today and arriving Monday. Since my play time is pretty much limited to weekends these days, I'm just going to pick up a copy at BB on Saturday if Amazon fails me.
