Rebirth is 50x better than Dominion.G.I.Bro said:
Just watched Dominion for the first time. Wow, what a dumb movie. Still bought tickets for rebirth tomorrow
Unfortunately, I dont remember anything about that movie except for the freakishly huge locust and Starlord having somehow evolved past hypothermiaG.I.Bro said:
I got the feeling dodgson was just a middle man in the OG, how did he become hnic? And why was he terrible? Where did he get the barbasol can? Couldn't have been the one nedry had bc the camera made a point to show us it was being buried, and we were told it could only hold embryos for 36 hours
Why did so many people have guns aimed at raptors and never fired them? Homeboy used his pistol to open a door but not shoot the ****ing dinosaur trying to eat him
How did that seemingly lush, waterlogged forest go up so quickly? Why was dodgson just like "eh, on to the next grift"?
What was up with that Santos chick using raptors as weapons and trying to slice us opie's kid then get all butt hurt bc she got tased?
I feel like both having ellie married in jp3 and then divorced and kissing grant were both inorganic fan service

Maybe I was just in a good mood but saw it with my teenage sons tonight and pretty much loved it.
Lots of stupid for sure.
Overall, just fun. Lots of fun. I highly recommend to take the family as long as the kids are old enough. So many flaws and stupid sh** but overall it was a great time.
When they got to the quetzacotal part, my buddy said "I still don't know that French guy's name, he's done."Iowaggie said:Urban Ag said:

The story is one you don't want to think too much about, and it is really predictable as in who is going to survive and who will die, but I was also entertained.
Also, the theater I was in actually clapped at the end.
I like the throwbacks to past Jurassic Parks
Yeah within about five minutes of the boat leaving you knew who would live and who would die screaming. LMAO.Iowaggie said:Urban Ag said:

I agree with your first line 100%, the writing is just plain bad.Quote:
I think the biggest failing is the writing - seems very uninspired.
I feel like this franchise has run its course and is just milking it for the money. To be honest, I agree with one of the earlier comments I had read somewhere about people just not amazed anymore - and adding mutant/larger dinos isn't giving us that. I think the only way you get some of that feeling back is to do a total reboot so we can at least see the fresh amazement from the perspective of the movie characters.
I think now I just want Predator vs. T-RexThe Original Houston 1836 said:
With this movie's theme of the dinosaurs settling along the equator, you could do a Predator-esque story about an indigenous tribe finding its territory invaded by just 1-2 carnivores and having to fight them off - people with no knowledge of the outside world - some worship it as a god, some try to hunt it, etc. Could be a new slasher R-rated movie in the spirit of Jaws.
This movie, man...https://t.co/cjdXh7jju7
