Yup. The Stan Lee tribute was awesome. My whole theater clapped. Very nice send off. Excelsior Mr Lee!

The wildest thing about CAPTAIN MARVEL is that it doesn't explain to general audiences why a lightspeed engine would be of value in this world where we see spaceships jump across the galaxy.

Question about format:
My theater has it in Imax, Real 3D, Digital 3D, and digital. I usually prefer regular old standard format; is there anything about this movie that would make you choose a different format?
Brie said she didn't want to hear their opinion, she didn't say they didn't want their money.rhutton125 said:
And just wait 'til all the men end their boycott! That's when the real money will start rolling in.
Some of the dumbest **** I've ever seen.

INTRODUCING A CAMPAIGN TO MAKE THOR SAFE FOR SCANDINVIAN PEOPLE: I am calling on all Non-Nordic ancestral people to avoid seeing Thor, at least for the first four weeks of its theatrical distribution, to permit the legions of 'Thor Corps' fans to see the film in a positive, Sacred Norse, Scandinavian-only* space.

My wife and I saw it and enjoyed it. We thought it was better than Black Panther. They did a good job of filling in her back story, tying it (loosely) to Guardians, and it was generally entertaining. Her "funny" lines were lame; but otherwise she was fine. Fury was solid as always. Jude Law was pretty solid. Annette Bening was just awful. All in all, I'd rate it a mid-tier Marvel movie.Noblemen06 said:
Wife and I saw it this afternoon and both were underwhelmed. Jackson, Mendelsohn, and the cat were bright spots. Larson and the story were just...boring. I hope the Russo Bros can get more out of her in Endgame and she conjurs up some charisma in the future if she's going to be the key player in the MCU afterward. CM is at bottom tier of the MCU with the Hulk for me.
From GotG, only Ronan was really bad, and he was set up to be a defector from the rest of the Kree. The rest of the Kree weren't going to stop him, but they weren't trying to annihilate everyone either. As for AoS, I got so bored in that season that I haven't finished it yet, so can't speak to it.Pro Ag said:
I thought it was good or an average Marvel movie. I knew virtually nothing about the character going in and I feel like they could have done some things better. As others have said, it appears you could go into the last movie without seeing this one.
I was a little bummed knowing more about the Kree from Agents of Shield and them reusing Korath (guy from the GotG Who? Meme) making it very apparent the Kree were bad and not that they turned bad in some event we weren't going to hear about.
I honestly can't understand this whole non-charisma thing that some are getting out of this.Noblemen06 said:
