Look, I don't think going to someone's apartment is an automatic invitation to digital penetration. If he did what she described, it's beyond sleezy and she had good reasons for being upset.

My problem is with the anonymous sourcing. This opens the door for click-hungry websites to publish real name fiction. Sure, tabloids have done something like that for years, but there's a huge difference when discussing behavior that can ruin a career and potentially lead to criminal investigations.

It's not. But considering he already went down on her, she'd somewhat reciprocated, then continued to stick around while waxing poetic about the wine she wasn't a fan of, I have a hard time taking her account as total fact.

The fact that the two of them seemed to have reaching an understanding via text also raises a lot of questions for me. She says she told all of her girlfriends about this right after it happened. Yet a year later they decide it's a good time for publicity since he's on tv and it's a chance to make waves?

If you've ever watched any of their show it's freaking unbelievable the lengths they'll go to. The idea that they'd try to set Haggis up is completely reasonable given their past actions.

Same here, I'll never watch it again without thinking about what happened to Dushku. Will it change how much I'm able to enjoy it? I suspect in some way that it will.

Okay, so the original Scream was on last night and I switched over and started watching a scene with Rose McGowen and it quickly struck me: this was probably around the time when Weinstien was starting to show perverted interest in her.

Scream and True Lies are such brilliant films that will now be harder for me to watch thanks to all the scummy things that happened.

Ummmm, yes.

Horror movies were basically dead as a genre in the early 90's. Scream almost singlehandedly saved it from existing solely as a straight-to-video genre. It's also completely original in it's acknowledgement of slasher movies existing in this movie's reality and the teens are aware of the tropes.

I won't continue because this would derail this thread, but yes....Scream is brilliant. Maybe the sequels strained it and tarnish it's legacy, but the original is groundbreaking.
