I always wondered why Sorvino disappeared from acting after she won that Oscar. Pretty disturbing if Weinstein did this. Judd is a freak. Don't really care about her at this point. I do wonder if Weinstein is partly the reason she is such a lunatic now though.

There was literally no one in the audience that came to listen to f-ing John Oliver ambush Dustin Hoffman. They paid money to see a retrospective of the movie Wag the Dog and hear insight from those involved about the film.

Devils advocate: maybe if guys like him had been asking questions in that manner a decade ago, this type of stuff wouldn't have been swept under the rug for so long? Maybe he knew something that made it hard for him to let go and that was as self controlled as he could be?
I'm inclined to agree with you though. That didn't seem like the appropriate place and he should have definitely dropped it when the audience started heckling. On the other hand, if guys who engage In crappy behavior get run out of town because they can't do an interview without their crap coming back to bite them...maybe it's for the best?

Looks like Wag the Dog is about a sex scandal. I'd say it relates in a sense. But let's don't make the pedophile uncomfortable.

Nobody cares about making Hoffman "uncomfortable." I don't mean to meander into an overly complex line of thought, but it is possible to both oppose pedophilia (of which Hoffman isn't even accused) and think it's distasteful for someone like Oliver to attention-***** over this.Quote:
