Also looking at the Delton... should I avoid? Want an upper for less than 6-700. Plain 16" with chrome lined barrel... any ideas?

OK then, I am a newbie.
I have a Bushy M4A3 Patrolman's model. How do I install this set up? Obviously, at first glance, my current handguards need to go. Do I have to intall seperate upper an lower rails then add this set up?

You all looking for handguards, check out the new Magpul MOE's. I just picked up a set for the ribs 10.5" SBR and man I am really impressed!
They are quality and utility all out of proportion to the price. I'll post pics this weekend.

Sarge, I used the magpuls that was stated above, but my handguard is the Midwest Industries 10" carbine length with a low profile gas block.
What questions do you have about the EOtech?

I've just read/heard quite a few critical comments about them. Their stuff probably works fine, it just might not be as high quality as "better" brands (RRA, Stag, CMMG, etc. - not to mention the high end stuff).

I'm trying to finally set up my dream LaRue build, and am looking at getting their upper and lower, but obviously need a parts kit. Any suggestions towards where to find a basic parts kit that I can get what i need from it (minus the grip and buffer spring (still need the tube))

I have RRA stripped lower, buttstock, and lower parts kit.
If I order a RRA "complete upper", what else do I need to complete the build (to firing condition, not talking optics, etc.)? RRA website says complete upper contains BCG and charge handle. What about gas tube?

Complete upper is just that: complete.
As long as the buttstock is the complete kit, you should be gtg.

.204 project is almost complete. Got the FF tube installed last night. Waiting on a new gas block and my Young Mfg bolt carrier, which should be in within 2 weeks. Sorry for the bad quality of the pic, but I'll take some more nice ones when it's finally compelte.

My wife is hating ME for spending that much on it, but she knows it's a passion of mine, so she supports my hobby. Gonna have around $2grrr into this thing when it's done, but it's gonna be a pig killing machine and probably my favorite iron in the cabinet from now-on.

TSR rings and Harris bipod came in yesterday. Gas block should be here today, and I'm ordering my Mueller scope today, as well. The BCG is the long-pole item in finishing it up. Should be 2-3 weeks.

Externally, the .204 Ruger rifle is finished. My stripped bolt carrier should be here soon, and I need to get a scope. I already got my beginning loads ready for this puppy. I'm going to try 4 different powders. I will also change out the Harris eventually to a pivot model and put this one on my 10/22, but it will do for now. It's driving me crazy not being able to shoot it yet.
my brother picked up a ciener 22 conversion kit for his AR. Holy flippin fun!! very cool to blow through 250 rounds of ammo for 7 dollars (obviously after initial purchase).

Ceiners are great in a suppressed AR.
Try the Aquila SSS 70 grainers. Most likely wont feed well, but they shoot great and hit like a ton of bricks.
File a flat on the nose if you want to hunt with them. I kill two and three coons at a time with one shot on my feeders if they will line up right...
