Anyone with an EA Access membership (Me) will get access to BF1 on October 13. The game launches to the public on October 21, or October 18 if you buy the deluxe edition.

The first DLC isn't coming until March. LOL, not sure how many of us will even be playing it still by then. Don't get me wrong, I think the game is going to be fun, but I seriously doubt it has the legs like BF3 did with our group.

FYI, All the BF4 DLC is currently free so stock up. I know I'll have access to BF4 when I get EA Access to pre-order BF1 in a couple weeks. I know the game still has plenty of people playing it as well.

Read somewhere that they are nerfing some of the tanks, putting in more potent anti-tank items, and nerfing how many bullets to take down a horse.

Operations just sounds like mini-Rush (over a couple of maps), like Domination is with Conquest. Am I not reading it right?

I missed the beta....what was the overall consensus?

I have heard this game was just Battlefront with the Battlefield skin, but I hope that is not true

That's a common description that way oversimplifies the differences. There's no weird card boost things, and though I only played the beta of Battlefront, I found Battlefield a deeper game - more unlocks and such. It's not near that of recent Battlefield games, but that's because during WWI that level of weapon customization simply didn't exist. I like the fewer weapon options, but I'd rather spend my time being killed, than deciding between 8 different scope attachments. The game's a hard sell with the single map they gave us in the beta, but I'm pretty sure I'm buying it - as are most of those that played in the beta.

I rarely play the single player on anything, but that looks kinda cool. I just prefer the multiplayer part of gaming. But I might give it a shot.
