I got a few legendaries
5 legendaries: Pat, Ragnaros x2 (1 gold), N'zoth, Gold Malborok in 58 packs

I opened my free 3 packs, had no gold since I'm missing many classic cards and trying to fill out a lot of them. No legendary besides C'Thun but did get a rare that boosts C'Thun. A couple of nice commons I got:
Tentacle of N'Zoth 1 mana /1/1 with deathrattle deal 1 to all minions, seems like a super cheap board wipe for some aggro decks.
I am partial to murloc decks and the Bilefin Tidehunter is a 2 mana 2/1 with battlecry to summon a 1/1 ooze with taunt. Definitely throwing this is my warlock murloc deck, especially since the legendary murloc isn't standard anymore.

Opening these cards is really making me miss Ulduar.
Oh, and my best moment of standard so far was a shadow priest accidentally nuking himself in the face with a Twilight Darkmender when he just about had me beat.

First standard game. Opponent goes turn 1 astral communion. Turn 2 nefarian. Turn 3 cabalist tome. Managed to live till turn 8.
Update, opened the 5 pack quest. Another Herald. That's 3 I pulled of him today.

Stuff like that make me hate this game sometimes.
So, shaman is pretty stupid OP now, yes? neen most of my standard matches so far.
I find myself wanting to make a shaman for the first time, but so far I'm obliterating people with my Druid C'Thun deck. Throw in Branz for doubled battlecries and a pair of Doomcallers to resurrect dead C'Thun's and that guy just gets crazy strong crazy fast.
It's hard to beat me when I play a 19/19 C'Thun twice.

I saw a few shaman, but nothing absurd. I tried to make a deck for shaman, but I just can't seem to figure out that class.
Update: I got Malkorok, Mukla, and N'zoth.
Pretty underwhelming but N'zoth may be kinda fun at some point.
I'm having a lot of fun with C'thun Druid. I'm thinking of crafting Twin Emperor. He seems like a must have in C'Thun decks.

I had fun with an experimental divine shield pally deck on the bus morning.
Fordring on turn 8.
Then steward of darkshire and stand against darkness (giving me 5 1/1s w/ divine shields) on turn 9.
Then stormwind champ and rallying blade (giving me 5 3/3s w/ divine shields) on turn 10.
It was GG one or two turns later. I might have to craft another steward of darkshire because that card has sick synergy potential.

I did similar, but put n'zoth in to resummon Tirion and other death rattle cards. Pretty awesome when that works.

I've been playing a control c'thun warrior variant. Seems to be extremely strong - especially if I can keep the board clear and drop a c'thun. I was playing a casino mage that played a yogg-saron and proceed to double fireball and pyroblast himself to the face. I was dead in the water and he proceeded to do 22 damage to himself and lose. That's been the highlight of this expansion so far.
Been hearing similar stories about yogg. I wonder if there is something causing spells to target self more than expected...
I played 5 games of yogg mage last night. Lost 3. Yogg is underwhelming. If you've cast a lot of spells you lose the rest of your turn after yogg as you rope.
Yogg has a high tenancy of killing himself. In 3 of 4 games I drew him he'd deal enough damage to himself to absolutely clear the board. He likes secrets, which is nice, but they are eye for an eye and dart trap.

I dusted the golden Staghelm and crafted a few legendaries today. Not sure why but I cannot stand the Druid class.. Got the twins, N'Zoth and Sylvanas. to go with the Boogeymonster that I opened yesterday.
The only time I've ever enjoyed druid is when I play some version of reno. It's not ever going to be something I rank past 16 though.

I think a lot of the "wow I'm bad at this game" is stemming from the pure randomness that hearthstone has become. It feels like now that it's a race to see who can out C'thun your opponent and if you get crappy draws you are screwed. There isn't much difference between skill and rng now IMO.

I had some fun-filled RNG this morning. I was playing a priest with my C'Thun Druid deck. 3 minions to none and he had about 20 health left and uses thought steal. Little did I know he thought stole my C'T and my taunt +3/3 minion. Needless to say he cleared the board two turns later.

Let's let the meta settle a bit before we go off the ledge. These decks aren't nearly as OP as some think. Highly doubt cthun will be a tier 1 deck. This expansion has put a LOT of strong card synergies together for every class. I think we'll see much more parity than previous seasons.
Played more Yogg last night and I enjoy the cthun decks way more. More often than not Yogg killed himself and just doesn't have a good result.
