Made Kibbles 40% faster for Taming than Raw Meat ever was, and it's got SUPER AFFINITY (if you use the right kind of Kibble for your Dino -- for example Raw Prime Meat may net you a 70% effective tame now, whereas using the right Kibble can get you close to 100%!). May continue to buff Kibble, but let's take it one step at a time with seeing how useful it is now

The rate at which food spoils is annoying. I hate having to find food and cook it every time I log on. This is doubly so for prime meat and these recipes. He's out at the ocean base, I needed to carry more supplies. It's coming along nicely. Badmoonrisin and I have mostly completed the base and pen, though there is room for improvement. It's right on the water and has a training pen and enclosed area for sharks and dolphins (we now have one of each, makes farming oil easy). Someone else had made a small hut and fence further inland, so I used it to tame 2 raptors and a carno.

If you stick all of your inventory in a chest (including hotbar and armor items) you can fast travel there using the beds. There's some armor and weapons there along with food so you can restock when you get there. I'm going to search for an underwater cave today.

Not sure on the narcotics/thirst. Would be something to try, but I've spent some time on the forums reading about taming and haven't come across that trick. Would be a game changer for taming since narco berries and lesser meat are easy and fast to farm. Could use one of the online calculators to see how long it should take to tame and only use lesser raw meat to take out the prime variable.

Advanced taming or "starvation" method: This must be attempted CAREFULLY, this is a method of taming that take A LOT of narcoberries or narcotics, and very little time. Start off with your dino knocked out, place a bunch of narcotics or narcoberries on your dino as per usual, next put stimulants or stimberries on him and start remote using each try an keep a good eye on your torpor levels as the stim berries will start to wake him up, how ever it will also bring his "thirst" or in this case hunger as dinos do not have a thirst level down at about 2x the normal rate for approximately 2 seconds per berry, essentially making it so if you have the stims/narcos you can theoretically tame a t-rex in less than 5 minutes, most easily approached with a 2-1 narc-stim ratio(tested on raptors, scorpions, and stegos (AVRG taming time 3hrs, completed in 2:15 could have used more stims/narcos but the tame wasn't planned and its hard to farm that many solo by hand while taming) further testing on others required)

Tested multiple times with T-Rex, Arg's, and Sabertooths. Last test was with two T-Rexs. Level 10 T-Rex tamed as normal using Narcotic's and Prime Meat. At the same exact time, a level 12 T-Rex using the following method, and it tamed an hour and a half faster. This method uses a lot more resources (Stimulant and Narcotic), but taming time is vastly reduced.

Put 1 to 2 stacks of normal raw meat (for when the prime meat is out to prevent reducing the taming), 2 stacks of Narcotics and 2 stacks of Stimulants into the inventory. Have one additional person farming Prime Meat nearby. Force feed the creature enough stimulants to reduce its torpor / consciousness to around half, then force feed narcotics until its torpor / consciousness is back full. Keep repeating this while continuing to put prime meat into its inventory. If you watch the hunger of the creature, at normal it will go down slowly. While under the effect of the stimulant / narcotic the hunger drops about 3 times as fast (if not faster), causing it to reach its "eat" level much faster.

Visited the ocean base last night and made saddles for the raptors. Also tested out my 400 oxygen, which made for easy swimming, and added some oil to the supplies.

As an aside, the island seemed a lot bigger before birds, lol.

Happily, I can spawn anywhere I want, as I don't think I have any inventory. If we are still randomly dying when we are offline, we're going to have to turn into a commi society, with boxes of shared supplies for everyone.
