Well my main issue is that I can't get into the game. I dont see anywhere to click to just play. Ive got nothing in my downloads section on steam website. It does show that I purchased it, but I dont know how to actually enter the game. When I go into the game section of the libraries and change it to list view, it shows that the game is unavailable. Im wondering if you can even play on a mac computer.

EDIT: It says that I can't download the game on my current platform. I guess I'm SOL

You have a mac, right? In one of my earlier posts I think I mentioned they said it was coming out for mac on June 30.

Here is the lvl 90 t-rex d-funk and I fought for about 20 minutes. We used tranq arrows and stones, but he ended up dying on us.

Here's the one I had by myself. I ended up killing him too, with a slingshot. We need more tranq arrows!

No that's the old server. The one you are looking for is Aliensland PVP. Just search for alien in the steam server browser or unofficial servers list and you should find it.

I was riding Brewster (1 of our Triceratops) gathering berries, when I accidentally hit a bronto. He got aggro'd on Brewster, so I jumped off and ran away.

Then another bronto joined the party.

Then the tribe sent in reinforcements in the form of tribemates riding 3 raptors, 1 carno, and 1 trike (I think I got those numbers right).

They killed the 2nd bronto.

Brewster killed the 1st bronto. BY HIMSELF.

That's ridiculous. Hopefully they add some higher-tier item to the game that makes taming go faster.

I did learn, however, that server restarts do not impact taming. If anything, it was almost like it reset a hunger level on the dino, and he chomped through several berries when it came back up. So if not for that, he'd probably only been at 50%.

Ya prime meat is the best. The day after my failed 69 tame, i got a PERFECT 90 argentavis... got it back to the perfect taming area just outside base and had ppl feeding me primes. At ~2 hours was over 60% complete when another disaster struck. Dam raptor. Was gonna take under 4 hours for that one if we had finished.
sigh.

You got the numbers right, but I never made it into the fight with the carno - I was starving, and by the time I ate ~30 berries and rode down, it was over. Bronto meat for everyone!

That's consistent with 60% after 5 hours...

I think something like this is in the works according to patch notes and such.

I agree, though. Taming takes WAY too long to have it necessary to be done in a single stretch. I'm all for keeping it difficult, but make it so that the time can be broken up. Make us craft something or other first. Possibly like an IV for tranq that can be set up to continually feed it in.
