... or maybe if we level up some argents we can just fly there and back as we farm.

That's exactly why I flew Francine to the coast to scout. A base near some underwater caves would be a good idea so we could leave supplies/weapons there allowing us to carry more oil/pearls back after a dive. We could also teleport there and make a dive while someone flew some birds to come pick us up with the loot. A pen with some tamed aquatic dinos would be nice too.
Don't forget, it's also possible to build an UNDERWATER BASE! No idea how, and I think you have to do a little clipping-hacking for it to have air (there was a clan discussing it last night). I do know that future updates will include parts for an official underwater base.
Just a heads up. The cave at 50.5/11.2 will be blocked off in the next week or 2 with auto turrets guarding the entrance so I would suggest not going to that one as it will be set to give no warning shots.

The exchange rate isn't that bad. Right now we are in need of stone, a lot of stone. So I was offering 1 oil for 50 stone and 1 pearl for 35 stone last night. I would be happy to come and pick it up from you guys. As for crystals, since they are a main ingredient in explosives I'll have to talk to my admins to see if we want to trade those.

So I'm a little slow, but just figured out that harvesting boulders with a pickaxe gets you flint, but harvesting with an axe gets you stone... because LOGIC!

Similarly, pickaxe also gets more thatch and meat, and axe gets wood and hide!
Something odd is happening, I put about 150 stone in a chest a few minutes ago, went to harvest more, came back and all the stone is now gone. Did someone log on quick and swipe it? Glitch? Too much blow?

I've been talking to Alien today and he's thinking of not renewing the server starting on the 7th because of money and time requirements needed. My tribe has just rented out a server and we are going to test it out to see how it runs. We will be using the save files from Alien's server so everything that is on the server will be transferred to the new server, including buildings, levels, items, and dinos. I'll update you guys as we get more information.
